A peacful weekend with my wife :)

A successful bbq at the house Friday evening. Haven't pulled out the smoker in way too long but I seemed to remember how to do it. Got the flavor down, now just need to work on the technique to get the tenderness where it needs to be. Whole mess of smoked meat in the fridge for some great leftovers. The guests wiped out the dish of poblano mac and cheese so we didn't get but a couple bites. Going to make another batch today, just for us. The sangria was the best I've made - really cut back on the alcohol content and it lightened the flavor, wasn't overly sweet, and didn't knock you on your ass like my previous versions would do.

I've heard you Madagascans are famous for your hospitality.

Spring has sprung and the weather is warming up.

In preparation for Summer I've just given myself an Art Deco Brazilian, I'm going to look so fetching and desirable.

So happy, after 4 months of daily desensitising, I've finally been able to do my doggie's dew claws.

It took so long and a lot of work to get him comfortable, but now he patiently sits while I file them down.

He's still a bit fidgety, but so much better than how he was, he even kisses and licks me while I'm doing them.
