Ya'know what's cool, giant hell vortexes of doom. They always put me in a good mood.
Then you'll be glad to know that France will officially ask to stop the negociations on the TTIP. the news just came up 20 min ago ;)

Change edit: My, my, catpower, this is dangerous, dangerous, nyaaa! I read local article on it and it says, "France asks for re-discussing on TTIP on better basis" (more profitable terms perhaps, for EU?)! Which means, not only we haven't won already, but we are bound to get dicked hard and soon, if all things turn ugly! Catpower help, help!!! I started getting sad instead of happy now, the omen is ill and it doesn't bode well for EVERYONE!

Shoo, TTIP, SHOO! Go away damn it! Get off me, off us!

I've had no money since March [six month welfare sanction] I knocked on my neighbours door yesterday to ask for a drop of milk, I love my tea, but she doesn't drink milk oh wells...

So today I searched my flat and found 42p, a small milk is 55p I was gasping for a mug of tea. I thought I'd go around the shop and ask if I can owe 13p, which i'll pay on thursday [sanction ends]

Opened my door and there was two pints of milk on my doorstep wooho TEA..

Thanks Cynthia

PS I asked yesterday 'are you pregnant' she replied 'no I'm just fat' [yes I have a way with women (

I re-rolled a 40 gold Hearthstone daily quest and got a 60 gold one. Looks like I will be able to afford about 9 arena games this weekend

Fairfox: ...

Mebbe someone can helps. If compy is plugged directly into teh router/modem/thing I gets 150mbps - yay! So it works. If I uses any WiFi device it's, like, 50mbps :/. If I looks at any WiFi device's Network/Local Area Connection settings it shows max. speed is around 65-72mbps (depending), so it's clearly hampered by that. I looked in teh router/modem/thing and set teh Wifi part from automatic 'Channel Selection' to manual but it makes/made no differenceseses.
Which standard does your router use? (802.11a/b/g/n/etc)

Which standard does the wireless adapter in the computer use?

(It is possible that your connection speed might be limited by the speed of your wireless router and/or adapter.)

That sounds about right, depending on your hardware.

If you want faster speeds, you should look at using ethernet or powerline adaptor.

Fairfox: I thought Wifi was super-fast?
802.11n theoretically has a maximum speed of about 300 mbps, but in real world use it's far less.

See if your router has channel bonding (it should) and make sure it's enabled.

Wi Fi is handy, but nothing beats a wired connection.

If you still aren't happy with the speed, you can buy some power line adaptors that simply plug into your electrical powerpoint and turn your electrical wiring into ethernet (so wherever you have a powerpoint you will have a wired internet connection).

Fairfox: I don't see "Channel Bonding"
It should be there, unless it was ISP supplied and they've hobbled it through firmware.

But 50 mbps is not too bad really; Wi Fi is prone to interference and is affected by distance and objects in its path.

If you want maximum speed and stability, wired is always better.
