well wow, let me wipe the slime off.....

fair enough, i was just making a sarcastic comment to your fairly juvenile posting without even seriously believing it would be read by her, and youve gone and proven my point even more. im actually not fussed about your sex life, or your pathetically sad cavalier attempts to try and insinuate youre a "playa" on a computer game forum. well done you.

I got a new saddle for my bike, the old one was killing me...and its perfect weather to try it.
Getting a beta access key to elder scrolls online and someone PMed me telling me that it wasn't just me getting harrassed with something so I felt better.
I was able to resist the Steam sale for Tomb Raider since I just got it for free on PSN+ but really wanted it for PC. I'm broke so the money saved means I can buy food now so that's good I guess :-) (did buy Grid 2 Reloaded so I guess it's going to be VERY cheap food).
Test driving an Audi A3 e-tron prototype and getting paid for it.
Someone gifted me a copy of The Witcher Enhanced Edition. :D
That a got 3 codes in my mail from GOG today to get 3 games for free for buying 'Age of Wonders: Deluxe edition:)

Ooh and at the local store i got today a free bottle 'Bacardi Oakheart' (buy one get one for free).
Carma-fucking-geddon early access. Unfortunately, steam is down atm so I can't redeem the f-ing key.
Oh well, I know what I'll be doing in the weekend.
Playing Metal Gear Solid for the first time in twelve years (and thus slowly getting closer to playing the later games in the series that I couldn't play before because I didn't have a PS2 nor PS3 until last year).

That.... would not suck. Are you allowed to discuss how it went?

There' no NDA if that's what you mean.

Yeah, it's a nice car. Generally it's what you'd expect from a hybrid, a small electric motor for driving in the city + a petrol engine (not a range extender) for highways/long distance driving. However, it's very refined. The ride is extremely smooth, you don't even notice the switch between the two engines (save for the sound) due to the double clutch gearbox. And you can "glide" in e-mode, meaning that the car doesn't decelerate if you take your foot off the throttle. Usually electric cars start recouperating energy as soon you lift your foot, giving the impression of breaking.

The Audi doesn't do that unless you hit the breaks, so for all intents and purposes it feels like a regular car. It has three modes (electric, petrol, combined for boost) that you can either select manually or have the car choose automatically. It's quite heavy (1.5 tons) but doesn't feel like it and packs quite a punch if you put your foot down. Still, on my test drive I hardly ever left electric mode, unless I wanted to overtake or actually test the acceleration. The range is about 50 km in electric mode and about 900 km total (on a 40 litre tank), which seems realistic at least with a sensible driving style.

I'd buy it if I had that kind of money. And there's the problem because this car is a lot but not cheap.

Something that makes me happy once a month: my VA disability payment, which allows me to buy things I might not otherwise be able to afford. Tonight, I bought some cd's: "Magica", "The Last in Line", and "Sacred Heart" by Dio, and "Spirit Black" by Jorn; and "Rocksmith 2014" for my PS3, so I can learn to play some new stuff on my Strat.

Amusing. It always is when people blabber on while making imbecilic assumptions.
