I DEED IT! I shaved my head, completely bald now (0 mm). No political or religious reasons, just to celebrate summer since it has been relatively warm here for quite some time already (around 25-27 C degrees). I also look a lot younger now, like a newborn baby actually.

Fortunately my wife laughed and didn't complain when she saw me. She thought I was merely shaving my chin.

I do the same every summer. A clean shaven head always feels better, doesn't it? Especially when you look like I did, which was Bilbo Baggins the nasty hobo who hadn't bathed in 4 months.

After months of wearing a nasty dirt fro, going skinhead is like being reborn with new superhero powers.

I had the same problem. I am lazy going to barber, I think the last time was over 4 months ago, and hair started accumulating.

So either I had to go to barber (the one nearby charges a freaking 34€ or so for a simple men haircut), or do this. My hair doesn't grow neatly longer, but it basically grows to all directions, almost like an afro even though I don't have curly hair.

Plus, at least I got some use for that second-hand headshaver I bought from a flea market last weekend. This is not exactly the first time for me, I did shave my head to a 3mm when I was in the army but that was eons ago.

Best morning ever.

I just woke up with my puppy Jake laying next to me after a night of slumber.

He was laying on his back spread-eagled, and as I turned to him he opened his eyes and gave me the cutest kiss on the lips.

Puppies make every day better.

I am making some small progress. I resisted my natural urges for the first time. Even if i had the chance to indulge in something enjoyable, i chose not to and without even straining myself too much, either. My previous efforts in emotional transmutation techniques finally started paying off as "investment" and manifesting physically, too! "The essence of balance is detachment", after all!
