ScotchMonkey: I'm cooking nearly everyday now, getting pretty good at it too. Saving tons of money from not eating out I need to learn how make a great sauce.
The way I generally make red pasta sauce is as follows (all in the same pot):

Roast garlic in olive oil. (Optional: you can omit this and instead add garlic powder later.)
Brown ground beef (I usually use ground chuck) (This step can be skipped if you don't want meat in the sauce)
Drain the fat (if you cooked the beef)
Add 1 can each of crushed tomatoes (or diced tomatoes or tomato puree), tomato sauce, and tomato paste
Add a bit of water (or wine)
Add spices. I usually add basil and oregano, and sometimes I add a bay leaf.
Heat to boiling, then simmer and cover.
You will, of course, need something to put the sauce on (I recommend pasta).

To clean the can of tomato paste so you can recycle it, let it soak for a bit and most of it will come off easily.
My tank on tankionline.com is Badass! the only thing i fear is enemies with one (or more of those): Railgun, Shaft, Heavy Wheels! Anything else is as good as dead straight on!

That's exactly how I do it now. Spaghetti is the one dish I was good at. But now I'm branching out to chicken and vegetarian dishes.

I want to know how do a good spicy chicken. My cayenne concoction did not fare all that well.

Emob78: Boogie needs to get up, walk out his front door (if he can fit) and walk around and not stop walking around until he doesn't weight 800 pounds. The last goddamn thing Boogie needs is a VR helmet. Yet another reason not to move. Awesome.

It is physically impossible to make those Occulus helmets look cool. Boogie wearing a VR helmet makes it look like a big fat guy trying to wear a garbage can on his head.

skeletonbow: I dunno, I think he's fine the way he is. The Oculus isn't intended to make someone look cool.
Good thing that's not what they're going for. It would be a failed endeavor.
Well, not really today, although I just thought of it and it made me happy.

I bought The Cloud Dungeon on Groupees (part of a bundle). It's a "papercraft" RPG, where you cut out your characters and draw and tear them during the game, and it comes with an adventure which exercises this. For a kid RPG it's really great. The adventure is varied, inventive and humorous, and not at all like Hero Kids, for example, which I did enjoy playing with my kids but is mainly fight fight fight, description, fight fight fight.

So I'm going to inflict this on the kids soon, see how it turns out.
My Japanese midterm was half a mock interview, so I got done up in my suit (not a very impressive suit, honestly, but it was for bonus points) and had to go through all my other classes first. All my instructors complimented me (which was nice), but the really nice thing is that my middle class is a little ahead and need not meet on Thursday.

Secondly, I waited in front of my classroom a half an hour before class would normally start (technically an hour before I was to go) when my sensei arrived early and was willing to allow me to go right then. The classroom was still busy so we just did it in the common area and in spite of the fact that there were quite a few people around talking, laughing, talking and laughing loudly, it went very smoothly and she complimented my manners.

So, the takeaway, I only have a 9 am class on Thursday and my midterm went well. I got home by the time class would have otherwise ended (although, it has rained both times I have worn my suit as of late and lo and behold I didn't bring a jacket today).
I started playing Fantasy Wars and lost the first mission.
Nothing.
Got rid of some windows spyware bullshit and the annoying update to windows 10 icon.

and on our own forum with the very generous help of Solei

I can verify all the beforementioned changes do not fuck your system up.
The sh*theads who *almost* ruined my life are striving to blacken it further, with god knows what purpose, to arm my hand, implicate me further (this time with valid proof though, if i make the mistake to bite the bait), or sh*t. I am very happy that they loose their cool and act rashly and on impulse. My perfect calm, inner balance and nerves of steel will take me much further away, from time's perspective, as it seems. I can't afford any mistakes here, after all. Time to put my productive insensitiveness to really good use.

I finally liberated Geonosis as the Republic in Galactic Conquest of the Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
Went to the nursery and got free horse dung with wood shavings. Also traded some plants and got $20.

Also had to wake up at 5am to drive some lady to the airport. Got $50.

I CAN AFFORD NO MAN'S SKY PREORDER NOW.... but I'm not going to.

Travel day yesterday started off very poorly (Hotel Etiquette is not a universal concept) but the drive itself - including getting the load through Customs - went well. The wife and I rearranged one of the storage lockers to gain a good deal more space, and unloaded the truck. About 6-7 hours but it went without injury or argument. Sore as hell but that's a trade off for a smooth operation.

The parts I salvaged were in really good shape so I told the seller - a dealer I work with quite a bit - to increase his invoice. He'll make a bit more than the price we originally agreed upon, and I'll still come out fine once I start to sell some of this stuff. Win-win.
My uncle from the north visited us yesterday and today, and we had a good time. My mother and me bought a present for my cousin's little kid (who was born last summer).

I'm happy because he liked the previous present I gave to him, and I have the feeling that he'll also like this.

There is nothing like the feeling of pleasing a kid. My godson is 25 and I stopped giving him gifts when he hit 18 because reasons, I'm looking forward to giving gifts to his kids when he starts having them. I do not have kids of my own so I'll consider his kids as my own grand-kids.

I'm happy today because I had my last meeting with my social worker, I am mentally ill (very bad anxiety disorder) but I'm managing my life a lot better than when I started seeing her. (I'm still getting psychiatric help by the way)
