Two shipping notices today made me happy, one for my wife's 3D printer and one for a replacement micro SD card from MyMemory.

Winter sun and chocolate (rum flavoured with hazelnuts, almonds and raisins, yummy!).

At long last, a full night's sleep. Batteries recharged!

There you go picking fights with Santa Claus again.

Joke aside, my taunting sucks.

I was informed that my holidays will last from 30 of Dec till 10 of Jan. How awesome is that? I'm gonna play a lot of games. SWEET.

A rare full moon will adore the night sky, this night; so rare that only once per 30+ years appears! I am going to watch it, hopefully this time round there will be no clouds hiding it (for some strange purpose, almost each and every full moon night, sky is usually dark and cloudy, concealing it entirely).

Managed to bow out gracefully from dinner tonight with the rest of the family, so it's just the wife and I this evening. Used the excuse (a valid one) that there simply hasn't been much Alone Time with the wife lately, what with all the travel and other work stuff. Besides, bigger get-together at Mom's place tomorrow, with family coming from out of town.

Got a 6-month Sirius XM subscription with the new car so we've been listening to Channel 33, 1st Wave: 80s New Wave stuff. Sound quality sucks - very heavily compressed - but the music is good.

Rain turned to snow last night so it's a White Christmas. Barely. But good enough.

We havn't had a White Christmas in years up here. Just occasional rain and maybe a cold wind. So count yourself lucky.

Excited that it's only one week now until Awesome Games Done Quick starts on the 3rd, looking forward to eight days of watching the best speedrunners doing their glorious thing again!

Had a shitty night. Went to sleep late after fighting with all kind of technical issues, got woken up by my daughter at 3:30, had to help her get back to sleep, then my son got up at 5:45 and I couldn't sleep after that. So in the morning I was very tired and cranky.

So what made me happy? That because I was cranky the kids got out early for the first time since dinosaurs walked the earth and my daughter wasn't late as usual to school. Maybe I should be cranky more often.

Edit: Another thing made me happy yesterday. I have an Onda V712 tablet which I put an Onmi ROM on, and gave to someone. Apparently that ROM caused it to occasionally heat up and lock and at some point it no longer showed a screen after boot except for fractions of a second after pressing the power button. He gave it back. I had hoped that reinstalling the official firmware would solve the problem, and that was one of the things I struggled with yesterday. Finally managed to do it and it's indeed alive and well. Unfortunately Google Play says the e-book reading app I wanted to install on it is not compatible, and that was the reason I spent all the time reviving it, so my wife could have her own tablet to read on.

Even though i have long lost mine and forsaken any hope of ever recovering it, nothing prevents me from sucking this energy out of those who passively possess it and harness it into my very own, personal, energy reserves... Chi (life force) gathered from high purity "vessels" is of the highest quality and when you convert it into jin (biokinetic energy), you can only expect the best results possible. My inner Dan Tian is already flooded with exquisite loads of the finest force.

Spend 12 euro to play some sport bets that mother had. She won 80 euros \o/,too bad the paper she played was only for 2,30 but pretty nice to get 8 matches right.
