The unexpected gift of a game here on gog. My thanks to HypersomniacLive for nominating me, Honx for providing the game and MOONSHINESHADOW for letting me know that I have won.

HereForTheBeer: We adopted a dog last month, some kind of pit bull, possibly a mix with some boxer blood, and she has turned out to be fantastic. A very sweet dog, goofy as hell, very fit, very good manners, good around kids and other animals. Could not be happier with her.

Aww, shucks!

That's her to the left, and she's still awesome. Thinking instead of a pit bull terrier she looks more like a Staffordshire - narrower head, for starters.

Seeing light at the end of the tunnel on this installation. Hoping to start training around 10am tomorrow and maybe wrap-up Wednesday if everything goes well. This customer has been great to work with, which saved me a lot of time (even including a moderate modification) and will save them lot of money and downtime.
An unexpected gift code for a game on my wishlist, even if i didn't ask for it.
People in GOG forums never cease to amaze me. Hands down the best community on the internet, ever.

Bonus points since i just recovered from some health issues and i'm still a little weak and got a little bit scared, therefore it cheered me up a lot.
So I've started up a Children's Worship team at my church and have been going at it for about 2 months with some good progress.

But today the senior Pastor told me he heard the kids and was blown away by what's been accomplished in just 2 months... needles to say that's made me pretty happy.
I'm off work tomorrow, to go for ADHD testing. I've been looking forward to it, but now part of me thinks "Good lord, if I don't have it, then what's my problem?"

I'm happy that I learned more about Hit Scraper for Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Trying to work on making it more effective and worthwhile. I suppose I'm getting a bit obsessed with it.

I'm happy that I was recently gifted "Titan Quest" here on GOG. Awesome game! I'm happy that tonight I can drink beer and listen to music and play games.

Thank you for making me laugh really really out loud on this gloomy day. Wonderful avatar! She looks great & adorable, please hug her for me?

R8V9F5A2: On days like today, when life feels pointless, I appreciate how video games can always lead my mind away from death.
It's one of the things that keeps me alive as well.

i was diagnosed with ADHD at 13 (now 20) and plenty of other problems and I can say having ADHD is both bad AND good.

You have a lot of energy for the day, through-out the day but it's a double edged sword. It also really gets in the way of serious business from time to time. I don't know if it's bipolar disorder or just the ADHD but I take medicine to control my sleeping patterns too and even meds aren't enough sometimes.

Anyways, went to the dentist today and got some teeth filled. Got a root canal coming up on the 12th though. Actually dreading that. That's about it aside from what makes me happy every day usually. My family. :)

something happy to, to counter my post in the bitch thread: no work today but a regular wednesday: a break in the week to recover from the work on monday and tuesday and a day that the household help will help me get my household organized and clean.
managed to unbricked my n7100. the new kies is awesome.
Another thing that made me happy!

My cat is a ninja and bounty hunter! He caught and brought to me another mouse as a trophy! I properly rewarded him with cat treats and took the disgusting contagious corpse to throw it away.

Pure-breed cats seem to be much more effective than bastardized ferals, after all. This mouse is the 10th he hunts and he is not older than 6 months... Orange tabbies are great!
My recently bought and cared for Venus Flytrap seems to be growing a flower. From what I've heard, it should look nice.
A clean and tidy house and finding the energy to iron four pairs of trousers.
I think I finally managed to resolve the cursor flickering issue in IWD2. Yeah!

The funny thing is that I played all of BG 1 and 2 with the flickering and it didn't really bother me.
