KiNgBrAdLeY7: Elections, of course! Time for the crooks to pack up and go! But the damage has already been done and its irreparable, too... First time left wing, now people who saw what they truly stand for, hopefully, NEVER AGAIN left wing. To hell with the bastards and TRAITORS, of an entire nation, i might add. And they call the right wing and the fascists, scum... The nerve...
Worst fascists had always been the "reds", when compared to the "blacks". And poppa Stalin's score of death and torture, had been roughly double than Hitler's, lol. How could they ever don the mantle of humanitarians and defenders of people and common folk, this is going to remain a mystery (and a forgery) forever.
dtgreene: Why are you so anti left wing when it is the fascists who have been responsible for atrocities such as the Holocaust? How could they ever don the mantle of humanitarians and defenders of people and common folk, this is going to remain a mystery (and a forgery) forever.
I would much rather have an atheist prime minister who is trying to do good than the neo-nazis that had 10% of the Greek government and were particularly nasty to foreigners and transgender people. (Also, I would suspect that they might go after those who practice minority religions such as any form of paganism.)
(I would argue that Stalin was a fascist just like Hitler rather than some different thing: In fact, there is evidence that he might have committed genocide against the Jewish people just like Hitler.)
And about Stalin and the wonderful things he did, check out the Ukrainian grain famine.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor
Estimates are between 2.5 and 7.5 million dead. Starved to death so Uncle Stalin could feed his armies and factory workers. That's the kind of thing that happens when the State (ANY State) has limitless power.
I'll tell you what made me happy today. Not believing the hype of human politics.

That would be welcome. We're running out of potions, and the temple priests are greedy over here.
I'll try it and let you know. First, I need a dosage table where the body weight axis includes 23 lbs.
ScotchMonkey: At family gatherings I avoid eating or being on the same level as kids. I always get sick. Everytime time.
Its like 4 little CDC nightmares hopped up on sugar spredin the swine flu.
That's an accurate description. I find washing my hands frequently helps. Still, when my vector nephews visit, one usually manages to obliviously sneeze or cough right in my face. I did volunteer twice a month at my kid's preschool, and somehow escaped without plague every time. His class was mercifully small, I suppose. Don't you know the Vi and Vi Bro spells? Vi for a healing potion, Vi Bro for a cure poison potion. (Hint: The Vi symbol looks a bit like water.) Remember to save the empty flasks so that you can refill them with more potions!
KiNgBrAdLeY7: I believe into whatever i want to believe and no motherpreacher has any right to separate me from MY practices. Their atheistic profile is not only theirs, but of their wish to ENFORCE it on others too; doubly so if said others are within their ranks.
Actually, I haven't encountered a case of Atheists enforcing it on other people. I have, however, encountered Christians who act like their beliefs are the only valid beliefs and enforce them on others. In the US, it's even got as far as things like the Pledge of Allegiance (that school children recite every school day) using "god" as a proper noun, a usage that I find offensive because I see it as exclusive and offensive to any other gods that might or might not exist. (Of course, being an Atheist, I believe that such deities don't exist, but that's beside the point.) Similarly, I find the fact that a certain organization has taken the name ISIS to defile the name of the Egyptian goddess Isis, despite the fact that (according to my beliefs) Isis (the deity) does not actually exist.
As for something that makes me happy, I took a survey last night and felt happy afterwords.

The kNigsBrdGgnEy has already expressed his support for the neonazi golden dawn on these forums (more or less implicitely, because he's too cowardly to do it openly, but it was either golden dawn or the communists and he asked us to "guess" which one). Also, you have his whole posting history if you want to 'get' what sort of person he is, so, your question is a bit moot.
Anyway, the fact that ND lost, and by a wide margin, is what made me happy today. It's still not great news for Greece in the absolute, as the country is still way too divided and polarised for real stable and coherend policies (and the Syriza/ANEL alliance is still as dodgy as ever), and it doesn't seem to head towards any real consensus, which is what the country would require most of all. But still, finances are just one aspect of greek politics, and that country is in dire need to be modernized on a societal plane. A few years under a progressive government is a good thing on that aspect, and an encouraging symptom of a society evolving fast beyond the insulary traditionalism of its past decades.
It's also a nice slap on the idea of a "left parenthesis". Now, let's see if 4 years is enough for Syriza to become a new Pasok/ND in terms of corruption and vengeful clientelism...

25 of those however are ones that I have quit or have no intention of playing. Like the Ultima Games, or a few of my posts in the "Games Quit" thread. FtL is the most recent addition to that list.
Reminds me of when I passed up on a Goldstar 3DO at a yard sale in 1999 for like 35$.
Now if I had know it cost 700$ at launch....lol

But it is a shame you passed on that one. A rule of thumb is, if you find any computer or console based equipment that is not pc based, then get it - if the price is right.
For starters, i suggest you make a list on all potential stuff you can think of with your 'buy now' bargain prices and with updated nowadays collectors prices for reference.
That'll make it easier for you to find out if that gizmo you saw at the local flea market really is worth getting.

System Shock on GOG and got my LCR Meter from Japan. Manual is in Japanese only but it was easy to find an English one on the internet. I put a battery in and it powered up fine, I'll check it out some more later today when my brain had finished booting.
