Just to highlight the absurdity of having "Lords" or many other titles including "Your Highness" for Lizzy Windsor (our German Queen). Oh and I'm particularly exasperated with "Lord" Sewel receiving £85,000 as chairman of, and get this, The Lords' Privileges and Conduct Committee.

Got to, well, drive a tank! And shoot guns! Part of the safety talk was "You're not here to fire a fully automatic weapon in short bursts. You're here to fire it fully automatic. Squeeze the trigger and hold it!" Yes, Sir!

She got me the base package so it was one tank and one gun - a Sten - and then I bought her some time with the Sten (she loved it) and I also bought some time with an M1 Garand. They had a Browning 1919 set-up, and they also pulled out an MG42. I think someone else might have opted in with the Barrett 50 but we had to get going and ended up missing that one. I was tempted to get some of that machine gun action but ultimately couldn't resist the lure of the M1.

I would definitely go do that again.

Oh yeah, they also recently bought a Sherman and got it working. An older couple bought that package for the day so we got to see it in action. Pretty cool.

Well, among other things, GOGer Amrit9037 gifted me Paper Sorcerer totally out of the blue. That was a day-maker, for sure!
