I bought a new car last summer. (First since 1998.) I really like it. I don't think they were selling well for some reason. Rumor has it Americans don't dig hatchbacks. Plus, I used some magic car-pricing website, so I feel like I got an excellent deal.

Recently, I looked up the same 2014 model, and the price has further dropped a few thousand bucks. For some reason I can't fathom, this made me super happy. I had a brief insane moment where I considered buying a second. It passed, though.
Got a call telling me that I was accepted for a weekend job that pays well and might even lead to more work.
Discussion with Woman. Yes, not all of those are negative, despite the impression that the Internet and the media might give you.

Tarnicus: Thea and I got accepted for our new house at Oberon! Signing the lease on Wednesday. Stoked and relieved! Camping postponed for now, and I'm glad my camp is set up near the town we are moving to :)
Is that Oberon NSW? If so, the surrounding area looks absolutely gorgeous. Weird thing is seeing snow in Australia.
That i keep receiving opposition, hostility and "problems", in general, from folks in real life, especially those i am kind with and always try to help, without me doing anything wrong. Of course, this is ONE side of the coin that makes me happy; the second side of the coin, writes on it, ABUNDANCE. The more they try to "steal" from me or "destroy" for me, the more i end up getting myself anything i desire, nearly effortlessly, almost like cheating...

I like hostility and negativity against me; those ultimately end up invoking unexpected compensation from "above". And i am not even Christian (anymore)...

The only bitter aftertaste, is that those are short moments, don't last long and unfortunately, i cannot get something genuinely good or permanent out of the whole deal. But nothing is so bad that cannot get worse, so i shouldn't be nagging anyway... As i said, i am happy about the entire situation, as is. "More" would be downright greedy...

A generous fellow GOGer gifted me Rise of the Triads, much welcome as I had missed the copies given away by GOG:-)

And, two , I had (unexpectedly) the occasion to spend a couple of hours with someone I like vey much.
high rated
Going for a long walk at the quay; it was incredibly windy, but still very much enjoyable.
I love it when you realize it's the weekend and you have nowhere to be but home.

Home sweet home. Because why not?

-Who would pay 20 euros per person to watch a movie in cinema? You pirate it and watch it with friends at home.

-Who would go to a live music event? You pirate the cd and play it at home!

-Who would go to an internet cafe and pay 2 euros per hour? Nowadays, everyone and their grandchildren have access to it from anywhere!

-Who would pay 3 and a half euros for ONE COFFEE! For 5 euros, you get a jar full of it, enough for the servings of a WHOLE month, friends included!

-Who would pay 8 and a half euros for ONE DRINK! With 15 euros (actually with high taxes here, 25 it is, after depression), you get a whole bottle, while an IDENTICAL whole bottle in club costs 100 EUROS! Jaheira, please, dear!!!

And after all, consider those who have a home to get in, VERY lucky... In this time and era, many people are outcasts on the streets, or are loosing their house right now that i am typing! Home is a wonderful place to find oneself into, and i really hate it to break it to you, but you can use it for bringing friends, having fun, having FUN and emulating flawlessly outside activities, as if it was the real thing!

I won $25 from a $2 scratch-off lottery ticket today. Not bad.
A pot of nickels and dimes.

Oh, but my kind sir, you misunderstand me! I am saying that I love that I have nowhere to be but home! I am glad I can just sit at home and play Europa Universalis 4!
Watching Sam & Max Hit the Road on Twitch, followed by The Dig.

Yes Oberon NSW. I've been told it snows 6-7 times per year there on average and thankfully fire is my protection vs snow :) It also snows where I currently live, but we usually only get 1-3 falls per year, and not every year.

Edit: The main street of Oberon snowing

Spring time snow in Oberon
