Wife called from work and suggested we meet at our local fave Mexican joint for margaritas and chow. Wasn't really into the idea but I managed to get the last bit of paperwork done, picked up Mom on the way, texted my brother that we were headed over, and made it in time for Happy Hour. Had a small drink since the wife beat me on "Not it!" and I had to drive home. Brother, his wife, and one daughter met us there and we had a good visit.

Good cap to a busy week. Now hoping I can find a good Mexican restaurant while I'm down in Southern Indiana for the next three weeks.

Got my bank debit card 2 days after ordering it. (I lost my old one.)

Got our internet hooked up today! I was almost suffering withdrawals after a week and a half of relying on intermittent 3G.

After not having been able to eat (except for some bread buns without anything and drinking tea and water) for the last few days I now have a big plate of schnitzel and egg sunny side up in front of me.

Coming to the forums after not having spent much time on here lately to ask for some guidance and finding people as helpful and friendly as ever. Made me happy, really.

I had been here rather infrequently since August. I had been on holiday and then I got so swamped in work that I managed to take look here maybe once in a week or two - most of the time just trying catch a little up, not posting. When I started posting more intensively the other day one of the first replies (from IAmSinistar) was along the lines of "Glad to have you back". That really made happy. Feels like coming home from a journey.

It's a great place here still alright. Hope you enjoyed your schnitzel too :)

I can imagine. Ever come to Leipzig, Germany, you're invited for Schnitzel and beer :-)

But octopus - it's like rubber. I concur on on swordfish though. Just a little on the expensive side over here.
