Lasagne I had forgotten in the fridge a few days ago is still edible :)

Looking at the clock at 6:40 and then looking again at 7:12. Means the little one slept well and didn't wake me up at 6am.

2.000 Euros in hand, baby! And just in time, because tomorrow, is my birthday! Now to make a huge, complex, labyrinthine, shopping list... Fer myself ONLY!

Damn, i was planning to spend these over a long time period, since the sum is extra and what remains to me in total clearly, with my significant other someone, but not only i am alone now, yet in a black anniversary period, too. Now, i am sad...

But at the end, green Mammon will comfort me. This demon is not crueler than your average human; in fact, some humans, especially some who crossed my path in the past, had been way more crueler than this chaotic neutral demon itself. Cold and green sound tasty... And as a good pirate, first thing i bought was a good ol' bottle O' RUM! Before the party started, of course! Hiccups, and a toast to all forum members here, fellas or not, cold or warm or worm, green or blue... HIc! "scuse me, will be back later, at a better state and shape. Until then...

I got a confirmation yesterday that my niece will rent my old apartment from me. :) Seems like a win-win situation for both, she seemed to have trouble finding a rental apartment (that doesn't cost an arm and a leg), and I get an easy tenant for which I don't have to do any background checks etc., I will go after my brother anyway if she damages anything or doesn't pay her rent. :)

I gave her a bit of discount for the rental price, but that was an easy decision to make as the rental prices here are currently insanely high anyway, so I don't really feel I'm losing anything, even if I could have possibly gotten some more money from some stranger.

My wife wanted that I'd rent it to someone else for even a higher price (she e.g. had several friends who had asked for the apartment), but oh well. This was an easy decision.

Today I just need to get some stuff out the apartment, I think my niece will move in already this Saturday. One less item to fret about, and a bit more money for my monthly income. (Then again all that income will probably be eaten by incoming big renovations for that house/apartment...).

I saw the movie "Dinner for Schmucks" (2010) today on TV.

Pretty funny overall, but I just couldn't stop chuckling to the "truncated proverbs" that Barry (Steve Carrell) kept spreading around in the movie. I think they were easily lost on the Finnish translation (subtitles), but I got them better when listening to the English dialogue.

Truncated proverbs (or song lyrics) like:

John Lennon/Imagine: "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not..." (the only one)

"A mind is a terrible thing..." (to waste)

LOL! Brilliant. I wonder if there were more I missed... My wife couldn't understand why I kept chuckling even after the movie was over, not sure if she got those jokes either.

That I finally got to experiance WOW's Raids and see what stories I have been missing since Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne.

Fall of the Lich King and Black Temple were great even though I cleared them with my lvl 90 protection paladin solo.
