KiNgBrAdLeY7: I found a big hedgehog in my garden, an hour ago! I sheltered the poor thing from rain (here now and since noon has been raining cats and dogs), fed it, petted it, and a few minutes ago that rain stopped, let it to run back to its nest (probably somewhere among the fallen leaves that pile in my back yard). It was so cute, i wanted to take it home (but i know wild animals wouldn't, and shouldn't, be house shut-ins)!

I love cute things! That totally made me happy today, and probably even through tomorrow, that effect is going to last!
they r awesome little animals, i remember seeing them about at night and sometime in garden, bought it in home once for a little while and let it free,

Sometimes i bring them in, too. But after noticing they get stressed indoors most of the time, i simply take care of them outdoors. Plus their scent is a little bit stinky, and with all the dirt they carry (in paws and among hair), your room will need cleaning soon after it leaves. Some of them even bite if they become stressed enough; it's always best to keep the encounter brief and to the point (little feed, little handling, and off it goes again).

I understood something quickly when looking at it.
Got a new pipe tobacco blend that's pretty nice.

timppu: Come to think of it, Nokia HERE navigation is in a way equivalent to "DRM-free navigation". :)
Perhaps, but OpenStreetMap is open-source navigation :-)

Happyhappyhappyhappy! I'm giddy like a child at christmas. My new computer case arrived today (or rather, it arrived to the pick-up point on Friday, but the ticket to pick it up got in my mailbox today). It was expensive, but it's so close to my imaginary perfect case that I can keep pretending it was worth ordering the damn thing from the states. With that, I'm just some RAM, a PSU, and several more drives away from a new server.

Now to brush off my FreeBSD-fu...
Discussing the future with Woman. It's fairly distant future that isn't particularly relevant at this time, but the fact that our wishes and expectations are parallel gives me hope that one day it might be.
That Twin Peak will be resurrected in 2016!

True, maybe I should give it a chance. Is Navit the best(?) OpenStreetMap car navigator for Android?

I wouldn't know for Android. I try to run SailfishOS-native applications on my Jolla, (almost) only using Android applications if I can't find an equivalent native application.

Well I just measured...9inX6in, I'm a happy man.

Hmmm, I've been thinking of buying a Jolla phone, just because...

I tried Navit because on some web page it was claimed to be the most popular Android navigator supporting OSM, but it seems to be crap. Seems kinda "work in progress" with missing features, apparently it hasn't been updated for a couple of years, and on the older phone I don't even get to the "download maps" screen (it just flashes and goes back to empty screen), and on a newer phone it just complains it can't download maps.

Next I am trying MapFactor. It seems much more feature-rich. I tried to download the whole of Europe and some Asian countries' maps with it (using wifi), but for some reason the download gets aborted at some point. Need to try again.
I got home. and used my new monitor, now to get my new desktop... using my brothers old laptop as a spare right now...
weekend started (I don't work on friday's as a norm) and it's warm and sunny enough to sit in the garden without a jacket, reading the forum.
GOG certanly did't :P :P :P
