InSaintMonoxide: Double Dragon IV. The reviews are terribly unfair.
I think they should have gone the snes like graphics. Although DD 2 is the most classic for me but what little I played IV, it kinda seems to have used same assets than in dd2 but just throwed in a lot more enemies.
City of Brass.

I love the aesthetic and have wanted it to come here forever. I remember emailing the devs on that point sometime around release and never hearing back. Anyway...

... reviews were mediocre to poor...

... but every time I watch gameplay walkthroughs (even for a minute or two), I want to play it and wish it was here on GOG.
The Troma Project and Rezerwowe Psy
Lord of the Rings: War in the North

A pretty good team action brawler(?) that could be played either solo with AI companions or co-op.

Strangely, this game is not available for sale on Steam... only via Gamestop for redemption via Steam (what's that about? seriously, can anyone explain this to me?)

Anyway, would love to see this game on GOG (co-op or not)

This game is not available because licensing expired, just like with all the others older LOTR games.

If that was the case, why can it be purchased via Gamestop online?

Site shows to me "access denied" for some reason but I assume those are steam keys bought in bulk earlier.

Ah, this could be it. I expected they would "pull" digital games with rights issues as they have physical... but possibly not if they've done as you say. Anyway, it's the only place you can currently purchase the game on PC (at least in US)

Funny.

I have this on the backlog and had an extra key from humble bundle till like last month. Didn't know how "valuable" it was.
It's... a good game I guess? I'd rather have Lotr Conquest from Pandemic here, intense to the bone nonstop action and a helluvah multiplayer and coop game despite what people say.

But my personal low rated would be Aliens colonial marines. God knows why.
The OP makes it seems like a bit of a loaded question ... I don't think it neccesarily has to do with GOG's curation, but -
maybe Meat Puppet? IIRC it got rather lukewarm reviews, criticizing the clunky controls, diffculty etc. I would still be tempted to buy and try it, if it was released here, just for old times' sake (had the demo on a gaming magazine's CD). Would probably end up abandoning it though due to time limits and lacking save system.

Wow, I did not know troma had done a video game. Does Lemmy commentate it like Tromeo and Juliet? Going to have to get a copy of that!

Yeah they did, it's even available on Steam. I played it only briefly but don't think Lemmy or Ron Jeremy were involved, however it has Lloyd Kaufman himself as narrator.

The latter game (title is like "phonetical translation" of Reservoir Dogs) was made by the same Nekrosoft company and was poor Jagged Alliance clone but set in Poland and with very edgy 90's style (foul language, "adult themes", politically incorrect, dark humor). It's rather not good game but considered cult classic in Poland. Troma is basically re-skin of that game.

Duke Nukem Forever + The Doctor who Cloned Me (dlc).
low rated

I love this game, despite the flaws(2/4 weapon limit on console/pc, quite linear, checkpoint saves, etc).....a shame it never came to GOG(also an even bigger shame that gamers never got the original versions/content that got scrapped along the way).

1.Hard Truck Apocalypse + Rise of the Clans - HTA is one of those titles made in Eastern Europe, which are quite buggy games, but for me it's extremely enjoyable buggy game :) I know that low rates are partially justified (technical state), but other than that - I think HTA has the most satisfactory gameplay amongst all vehicular combat games I've ever played.

2.Excessive Speed and Akimbo: Kung-Fu Hero - two games from small Chaos Works studio, I can't even tell how much I've enjoyed Excessive Speed, playing it with my sibling (has local multiplayer), but also in SP. Akimbo on the other hand is a platform game, hard but fun to play. Sadly, both games didn't had very positive press back in the release days (maybe it wasn't "that low", but rather around the mediocre), but I personally like them up to this day.

3.Sonic Riders - I know, it's Sega, so probability is very low... Anyway, I was surprised (since I'm not fan of racing games in general, excluding those with guns :)), how fun this game is to play, however you need to learn some basics (which are not very well explained in the in-game tutorial). IMO Windows port is decent (despite relatively low notes in press).
