Wishbone: Well, to be fair they did receive a support ticket from "DanTheKraut". I'm assuming that isn't your real name. I can tell you that Wishbone sure as hell isn't mine.
It's a good thing you told me that before I tried ripping you in half.

DanTheKraut: Seriously someone with the name "qp0n" works for the support? Not even real names?

Well he probably feels like he owns the place so his employees should have real names but not him. It would inspire confidence in the corporation.

Look what I wrote I use my real name. I'am not using a nick when I contact any kind of support.

Yes, but you're the customer. In order for you to be better served, they need to be able to identify you. On the other hand, Jack Daniels or lolkat69 can offer you exactly the same quality of support.

I prefer Jack Daniels myself... unless lokat69 has a big rack and pics to prove it.

What were we talking about?

I can't remember. Once bourbon and boobs are on my mind, everything else is off.
So if Apu Nahasapemapetilon from Mumbay goes by the handle "Michael Smith" on Amazon support, that's good because it's a real name.

But if he goes by "Bigdick McAwesomepants" on GOG, that's bad because suddenly support quality takes a nosedive?

Whoda thunk it...?
Maybe I have a different point of view when it comes to support from business companies. I can't take a company serious with names like qp0n or knobhead21 because it looks like a normal user response to me.

This is the kind of flawed logic that is leading the world into collapse. Trust the man in the suit and tie.
Why? Because civilized society.

I agree in general, but for a gaming site like Gog, I actually accept\prefer a more informal approach.

Formality has nothing to do with actual quality. It's a very, very long running scam.

Uh.. I didn't say that.
Or are you just adding to my comment?

Just adding.
We never know peoples circumstances, qp0n could be his/her rap name or wresting name and they do this support gig on the side.

Thanks for my next nickname. I'll find a forum where I can put that to use.
