Vertigo (Alfred Hitchcock)
My Sassy Girl (South Korea version)
Le Samourai (Jean-Pierre Melville)

They're my personal favorite movies of all time.

SkullCowboy: You gotta pick just one.
And for those who may wonder about this question on a game site, I personally think that one influences the other.

I'll start.

The Crow.
BEST. MOVIE. EVER.
Even after they changed it around from the graphic novel.
It's impossible for me to answer your question...
This.

The same category as: what is your favorite song, what is your favorite book, what is your favorite grain of sand, etc.
I'll try anyway. Life of B..., no, Pan's La..., no, no, The Big Le..., Twelve M...., no! Dr. Strangel.... or Les Triplettes de .... Aaaarrrrggghhh! I can't do it! :`(
Blade Runner
Crank.
My favourite film is definitely 'Lost in Translation', but both 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' and 'Bladerunner' are close!
Picking just one is not easy, but if I have to then I would say Excalibur http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082348/

It's a magnificent retelling of the arthurian legend, it's definite version as far as I'm concerned. The music, the cast, the magical, otherworldy, dark and beautiful feel to it... a perfect movie.
My number one? A comedy most of you have probably never heard of, but should: Noises Off...

Seriously, just look at that cast list! Michael Caine. Carol Burnett. John (Three's Company) Ritter. Christopher (Superman) Reeve. Marilu (Taxi) Henner. Julie (Airplane!) Hagerty. Mark (Perfect Strangers) Linn-Baker. Denholm (Trading Places) Elliott. And Nicolette (Desperate Housewives) Sheridan. Not a single bad apple in that basket.

If you enjoyed that one, you really ought to track her down in Lord of the G-Strings. Hot and hilarious.
i enjoy watching Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock and Belle de Jour by Luis Buñuel.

Seen that, and Playmate of the Apes, Bat Babe "The Dark Nighty", and of course Kinky Kong.

capile2: Oh crap...
Having to choose one (and REALLY only one) favorite movie is like Sophie's Choice for me...
I'll go with of the Dead then.
I'll never get tired of this one.
OK, really? I love zombie movies, and so does hubby, so I got it for him for Christmas. We just spent 20 minutes being bored out of our skulls. When is it supposed to get interesting / funny?
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
Only one? That's a tough choice! One of my favorite movies is Highlander (the original one, not the awful sequels)
low rated
If i have to choose one, well, then probably the Pirates of the Caribbean. If it has to be one movie and not an entire series, then i would say, the first one. It is based on a very popular novel, bears many similarities to monkey island, and contains a complete, roundabout, grab bag of a multitude of feelings, situations, personalities and events (from combat, to sneaking, to drinking). Fun, serious, hilarious, this movie brings everything together.
