From the gog launch up until the gog relaunch a couple of years ago literally every game was either 6$ or 10$
After the relaunch the 6$ games jumped up to 8$
Now all those 6$ games are now 13$

My wishlist's prices haven't changed since the relaunch.

You just want me to list every game? I'm not falling for that

You mean you're not falling for it again. :P
Divine Divinity is the first game I ever bought here. It remains the same price as it always was.

A Canadian thing?

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I was looking at my own wishlist, and "Perimeter" that was released in the year 2004 currently costs $3.99 (full price), and "Chaos Overlords" released way back in 1996 stands at $5.99 (full price). Perhaps it could be the fault of regional pricing? Or some bug effecting games specifically from the year 2009?

By the way, congratulations!

Nope. It took me less than five seconds with the search bar to disprove that.
Maybe certain publishers jacked up prices (though if you refuse to give any examples, we can't find the common thread), but it was not an across-the-board thing.
A quick search through the catalog on my end also shows that many games still fall in the USD $5.99 price point (after you convert to $CAD): Uprising 1 and 2, Elven Legacy Collection, RTCW, Eradicator, Mystery of the Druids, Entomorph, Dragon Lore, Redline, Deadlock II and Slave Zero, just to name a few.

Granted, to be fair to the OP, some publishers (notably Interplay) have jacked up the prices on their games over the years. The publishers are to blame for that, not GOG.

Can you not troll please? You're the only one claiming this is the case, so either you've seen a mere handful of games have their prices change (Interplay is a known offender) or you're just seeking attention.

some games that used to be 5.99 got price hikes to 9.99 because bits don't just grow on trees y'know. those things gotta be, like, bitified, and such.

for the ones that are the same price in USD, it is the exchange rate. in 2009 after the recession depreciated the USD, and the relative lack of bad debt in the Canadian economy caused an increase in the loonie, the loonie was sitting at around 95 cents to one USD. now it's around 77 cents.
