ArthurYanthar: I'll try not to be so obscure this time, but I like watching them because it feels like I discovered a hidden treasure and I like to spread the word about it :(

This is obviously not as crazy as the Evil Dead films or Hausu, but this is a must if you like those films. A great mix of horror and comedy.
Hm, judging by the man and the vegetation in the picture, it's probably not A Chinese Ghost Story either ... :D

Yea you're right. Apparently this is really popular in Eastern Europe. mosfilm put quite a few of their films in HD on youtube for free which is pretty awesome. http://www.youtube.com/user/mosfilm/videos?view=0
OK, start guessing, folks.

No guesses. Apparently the movie is more obscure than I thought.

I've seen We Are the Night's (Wir sind die Nacht) cover art and thought it looks like a cheap vampire craze cash in but the screen looks totally amazing.

Let the Right One In.

What is that third picture, of the dog? I don't think it fits the other 2.

Yes. The third picture is just me being cheeky. Let the Right One In was a stressful movie for me so the goofy dog is a mental digestif, if you will.

Yes it does, I think. I've got both the American and Swiss (is it Swiss?) versions on DVD and they definitely go to one or the other.

Side note, am I the only one who cries at the end of that movie?

No, the tears did not come in my case. It ended for me with a queasy tension from emotional confusion.

edit: trying to empathize or at least sympathize with everyone in that movie is a mental trainwreck.

Yeah, I've always been kind of a sissy I guess.

Almost - it's Swedish.
