Zhirek: Someone else take my place if I was first.

Very well. This probably isn't that well known, but should be instantly recognizable to anyone who's played it.

I would search, but the problem is I'm at work and the vast majority of any and all gaming sites are filtered and blocked, which makes it pretty dang hard to research. Hence I'm left with only my own limited knowledge.
Jumping Jackson, on the Amiga. :)

Since the picture can be found in the Lemon link (and it's a bit late), I'll go ahead and post a new game. A favourite of mine, and it should be super-easy. The pictures are from the most enjoyable version IMO - even better than the original.

Bubble Bobble, on the NES (or through the Wii, if you're like a mate of mine who obsesses over this game as it reminds him of his childhood!)
Right game, wrong version. :) But it's your turn.

The NES? It looks like the C64 version to me.
In my defence, I didnt realise there was another version.

*gasp!*
It was originally an arcade machine, and has been ported to virtually every platform in existence.
As for your game, the style looks an awful lot like something Cinemaware would have made, but I can't find any of their games that match at all.
B-17 Flying Fortress, I think.

Here's another WW2-game, then.

Correct!
and that looks like Panzer General (a true classic)
Correct, Panzer General it is. I used to play that quite a lot in Play by E-Mail-mode. One of the (not so many) games that really worked well with that kind of multiplayer.

I do enjoy that style more than most RTS games. I think of it as requiring more chess-like skills, and I prefer to have time to plan my advance!
heres the next one...

Looks like Defender of the Crown?

It probably is, I was using abandonia to scout for possible answers and I have seen that exact screenshots
