the_bard: I have no idea how some of you figure these out. It amazes me. Have you really played some of these obscure titles? Or are you using some kind of photo-recognition-search engine...

Not much to it :)
I see now. Thanks!
Kalorion, it is your turn. Is it not?

Correct!
Quite a unique game that combined a Legend of Zelda like overhead real time combat view, a Dragon Quest like turn based combat view with an Arabian Knights inspired setting.

All right, here's the next one. Might be a bit hard...

I dunno what it is but whatever it is George Lucas should sue!

Really? I should probably turn in my geek license, but I can't for the life of me figure out what part of Star Wars that looks like...

BTW, I should probably offer a hint - this game will not be found in MobyGames. Or GameFAQs. It's about as indie as indie gets.
Its definitely not dragon age - but maybe an early beta for DA3 ;-)
I have no idea. Looks interesting though.
Time for another hint:

This game was released recently, and the title is a parody on one of the better known series using the same game engine.
Peasant's Quest
Villain's Quest? As opposed to Hero's Quest.
Nope.
Another hint:

To the best of my knowledge, the game is neither freeware, nor can it currently be purchased, despite the fact that it was released earlier this year.

"Now now, 'stole' is such a harsh word!" :)

Time for me to chip in, I guess. That's Ben Chandler: Paranormal Investigator from the AGS Bake Sale and it was fun to play. Oh, and now that song is stuck in my head again, thank you very much, kalirion! ;)

Once this is confirmed, I'll concede my turn to the next poster who comes up with a riddle.

You are of course correct!

Per Leroux's wishes, the turn goes to the person to post a screenshot!
