FraterPerdurabo: To get this going again.
Death track.

The racing mechanics were terrible, but I still spent many hours on this game.

Correct of course!

Dunno what it is, but that screenshot makes me want to go replay Condemned.

Tipping Point?

Nope. This is from the (not so) glory days of FMV, when the selling point was the number of CDs your game took.

Just did some google and youtube researching but looks like it didn't pay off!
And I love the (truly excellent) glory days of FMV, wish we saw more of that these days!

tl;dr: I don't know what game this is.
Hints: This game has a cyberpunk style internet and has a very good main title music (not written for the game). It is set in the future, but has plot elements from the past.

Actually that happens all the time when I try to add two images to a new post - only one of the gets through, although links to both images are shown in the editor. To add the second link, I need to edit the post and add the image for the second time, then it gets through. I thought I was doing something wrong, but perhaps it's simply a bug in the forum software,

Ah ha, Ripper! It came to mind as I was thinking back to "Spoony's" riffing of the game, so I searched it on Mobygames and sure enough those images were there.

Winner!
Alright, I was kind of forced to use a "motivation meme" for this next one as it was the best image I could find that contained this scene. This one should be easy and I think some GOG members sometimes have this image in their heads whenever a really good game is released on GOG but they don't have the cash to grab it at the moment.

It does make it easy to google the answer, but I'll leave it for someone else. I think it would be a good idea to make all of the hints into motivational posters though.

Faxanadu (also known as Famicom Xanadu)
