It is Disciples of Steel? If it is, I've been meaning to play this game in the past, but due to various reasons I never did/do.

Absolutely right! It's actually one of my favourites, the idea behind it was awesome but the execution was pretty average. It had this giant world where you could dive into dungeons to engage tens of orcs at a go or even take over an entire town with your party.

I remember playing around with that game waaaay back when I was young. It came on a CD of 250 game demos that we had.

HINT 1: it has the words "Dungeon" and "Shootout" in the title, as well as a misspelling of a popular brand of dart gun.

That should give people enough information for a google search.
