Ghostfromthepast: I miss playing that.

Playing it on tape on the C64 was absolute hell, though. I don't know why they even made a tape version :-(
The disk version however, was fantabulous :-D

To facilitate easy piracy with a double cassette deck? I seem to recall the C64 staying alive despite that fact that only one person per town bought any single game...

Zeewolf: I think the game is called Battletanx:

Edit: Ok, since the picture in this thread is in the gamespot page, and Barelyhomosapien is offline (probably gone to bed, as it's past midnight in Finland now :) ), I'll just go ahead and post a new game.

And you were right anyway :D

You're funny. 600+ posts and still going strong!

not to mention the other guess the game thread :)
we are all nerds and this is perfect forum game for us.
well it would be if Andy_Panthro would post a new challenge

What if we loosely use the rule that if 2 hours have passed after confirmation of the guessed game, the posting of a new challenge is up for grabs for anyone.
There must be loads of people viewing this thread wanting desperately to post their pictures of a game.
Yeah I think thats probably fair. 2 hours is plenty of time to go to the bathroom, have something to eat, whack off to videos of teen pop on mtv (or equivelent) and still google a new game challenge.
Just to kick start it again, here's a no brainer

Nebulus, or Tower Toppler, as it was called in the US.
Where's that screenshot from, the Speccy version?

Ping, we have a winner!
I think it might be amstrad, it's certainly fuglier than I remember, I seem to recall being amazed because the platforms had shading that made them look circular...
EDIT: Yeah, the Amstrad CPC version

Naturally ;-)
This is a nice game, now some company is making a spiritual sequel to it.
