MsbS: Well - here's another stylish screenshot from the game.
It does look like a scene from Brazil, but I don't know of a game of that...

This is the last clue you are going to get - if nobody gets it right. I'll put the answer and another game :-)

I can't remember the name of it, but it's a sort of cyberpunk-y thing, I used to have it. An odd mix of fixed backgrounds & videoed characters.

EDIT: I'm thinking of BloodNet - but looking at some screenshots, I'm thinking I'm wrong...

EDIT2: Superheroes? was it superheroes? With a succubus sort of character? This is Stream Of Consciousness editing, folks...

AARGH! You beat me to it... there was indeed a villain called Succubus, and that young lady pictured earlier was called Stiletto...

i must admit it's your mention of succubus that triggered my answer. Ijust saw the CD this morning while looking for something else in my collection of old games. wondering if it"s playable under dosbox

Correctamundo! Boobies and gothic architecture are an uncommon (yet delightful) mixture.

Your turn, good sire!
my turn then.

Very first game I played.

Just imagine a game with a 370 kb size ...

Ahh... remembered: Silent Service
Not exactly, a bit younger than 1985 microprose's silent service; but indeed a sub simulator
There was this game with a number... What was it... 688 something?
688 Attack Sub?? Doesn't look like it to me :)

I would go with Silent Service 2 instead ;)

688 Attack Sub was nuclear, that's a WWII Japanese Carrier, maybe the Zuikaku or the Shokaku...
