Nope, I'll give you guys a hint since I am going to bed, it is a Spanish game by a fairly well known Spanish developer I think (I think that they're fairly well known, they're a Spanish developer for sure). If you feel like you got it, just keep playing without me, I'll check tomorrow morning.

Definitely not an action game, as you say. That is, the game had action, but you had no direct control in the action sequences. In essence, it's a game about programming robotic vehicles. You are given some objective (like run this race and win it, or kill some other robotic vehicles), and your task is to build a vehicle and program its AI so that it can accomplish the objective on its own.
Very advanced, very geeky, and pretty much only for people who fiddle with programming anyway.

I've never played it, but I only knew about three spanish adventure game developers, so it was fairly easy to find. Is it good?
(also, add me to the short list of people who liked Earth Defence Force on the 360. Especially fun in two player mode)

Anyway, Disposable Hero is a lovely game. A bit difficult, but still very enjoyable. And the music... so awesome.

As games were back then, it also was super hard and unforgiving..
And everytime I see that game, it's James Hetfield from Metallica that says the title in my head.. :-P

I need to play more adventure games.. They are my favorite, but hard to come by.. Never even heard of this one.. I've been more focused on Lucas Arts (or Lucasgames) oldies..

I have to admit I haven't played this properly either. It was the sequel to an adventure called Innocent until Caught. Is it worth going back to it, Wishbone? I guess Sony owns the rights these days.

Definitely worth going back to. This one in particular, as it has added replay value. You can choose to play as either of two characters (for the whole game, you can't switch between them at will) and while they visit all the same locations, they have to solve different puzzles using different items. It's a great game. Never played the first one, though. I'd like to at some point. The developer also made an adventure game called The Orion Conspiracy, which sounds very interesting.

Ok, this one could be quite hard. It depends, really - it was huge in a certain segment of the gaming population, so if you belong to that particular group, you'll recognize it instantly. If you don't... well, it'll be difficult. So I might drop some major hints later, if needed. You guys are clever, though, so let's wait and see. :-)
