Combat School!

(I think it was called "Boot Camp" in the US).

It looks different from the Commodore 64 version I remember playing, but I remember breaking a couple of joysticks on the first mission (the one in the picture).

Here's another game that looked way better on the C64 than its counterparts.

I'm still wondering if it's the game I remember from my childhood.
It looks a lot like it, but the game I remember had an obstacle course editor like Excite Bike.. did Boot Camp have that?

Not that I know of - at least, not on any version I played. Sorry I can't be of more help!
