Zeewolf: LOL, too easy. I'll let someone else answer. :)
Btw, I believe the original creators own the copyright to that one, and are still around. So it shouldn't be impossible to get on GoG.

Ports of Call? I played it on Amiga 500 back in the day :) Fun game.

Free floor?! Why do people hate taking it? Just put up whatever you want, it doesn't have to be the most obscure thing ever.

Indeed. Most of mine have been pretty easy. I go for games that I played and liked. To me, that's the point, really. Anyone can dig up some obscure game that nobody ever heard of, but where's the fun in that?
Anyway, since he only wants to play half the game, why don't you continue, honorbuddy?
And to everyone: If you want to play, please play the whole game.
(And yes, it's Ports of Call)

Alright, I'll go then, I used to play this game all the time, and my father saw me once, and he fell in love with it. For a month or two after it, I couldn't play on the computer at all because he was hooked on it and the sequel which a friend later let me borrow.

Damn, I missed the challenge. I loved this game. *vote*
[EDIT] Hehe, apparently I'd already voted for that :-D
So, acare84, are we getting another challenge?

Here is the new question.

It's Ankh: Heart of Osiris. Pretty fun game.
Loving the graphics, but I was on completely the wrong track when looking for it. This game isn't old, it's brand new. I thought this thread was about old games. There's a separate thread going for newer ones.
Apart from that, I may get it if I find it anywhere. It looks great.

I don't think it was ever specified that this was a thread for old games only. It's the other thread that has the extra rules in it. I like this thread, because there's a lot of variety here - there's some oldies, some more recent ones, some well known games, some obscure ones. Anything goes, as long as it's not something you made in C64 basic yourself. :-)
Edit: And about obscure games - well, it's no fun if everyone are able to guess everything. Also, if I "play" an obscure game in this thread, it's because I consider it a very good game, not because I think it'll be hard to guess. And it's also very satisfying to see that someone actually went and bought Armageddon Empires because I used it here.

Yeah, well, mostly oldies, wouldn't you agree? I don't think anyone's ever posted a brand new game here before. Not saying it's "not allowed" (after all, who am I to make the rules), just saying that since there is a thread for new games, let's keep those over there.
And yes, I'm totally whining and trying to get my own way here :-D

I disagree, I think that you should just post whatever you want. The winner is the boss. :-) And just go to the first post in this thread, and you'll find a game that's probably just as recent as Heart of Osiris. :-)
Edit: actually, it's newer. hehe.

*sigh*
Yeah, yeah... I'll stick to the older ones in any case. No rule against that. Now, are you going to post a new one?
[EDIT] And please don't pick one that's still in development, just to piss me off ;-p

You can ask all games in this thread old or new. I don't see the point of having another thread about newer games.
