Funny, I'd briefly considered Strife, but discounted it due to the 640x480 graphics which didn't look as they were scaled using DOSBox. Guess it must have been using a port like ZDoom or something?

I love those games, some of the scariest I ever played, I couldn't hardly finish the first one!
Okay here is mine. A little known DOS horror shooter. Scared the living hell out of me as a kid.

Progress Quest! it's pretty much like any other modern RPG. No role playing required.But it does take another strep forward in gaming. No playing required. A grim reminder of the future to come. ;P
