Zeewolf: A classic. Deuteros.

Yes indeed :-) A fantastic game!
This one should be fairly easy. A pretty ambitious game that wasn't that addictive, but had "something" that I really liked.

Is it SimEarth??
It is indeed. :) Interesting how this very early Will Wright-game is so much more ambitious than Spore was....

Woot!
This one is a point and clicker with a trivia thing in it and it is based on a sci-fi novel...

Didn't he also have SimFarm and SimAnt as well??? I remember him having a Sim-everything back at one time....

Oh man, I love that game, I was actually considering using it for this thread myself. It also got me hooked on the books. But let's see who else knows it before I post the title... :)

Dunno why, it reminded me the Day of the triffids

Looks more like a typer, to be honest. Never seen it before, though.
It's got a hybrid user-interface, like most other games from the same developer. You can use the mouse to select the words, or you can just use the text interface.

Shouldn't you stop beating about the bush and reveal the title, then? It doesn't look like there are any other takers ;-)
I recognize the style but i am not being able to gind the name. I think there are couple of games with the same interface.
EDIT: Eric the Unready? either that or spellcasting 101/201/301

The game is Frederik Pohl's Gateway.

Ghost: It's from the developer who also did Eric the Unready and the Spellcasting-series, and the interface is pretty much the same. They (Legend Entertainment) were formed by veterans from Infocom, and continued the same tradition of using a common engine for most of their adventure games.
