triock: Meh, that's too easy!. :p
Still wondering though, why it's not on GOG! :/
I was going to say HOMAM1, but after reading your post I realized it's the other game! :) I won't spoil it though, since I got the hint. :D

This one going to be a hard one...

Might have been a bit harder without the text.
The Lords of Midnight.
It was one of the best strategy games on ZX Spectrum, the game is available on GOG for free:

Here is how it looks like (enhanced edition)

For ZX Spectrum I was addicted to Chaos: Battle of the Wizards.

Next game I guess. This roguelike I have played through the years:

2021AD:
UFO: Enemy Unknown was the first time I've heard about Julian Gollop. I like to muse how I would complete all his ZX Spectrum games made before of X-COM fame. Chaos: Battle of the Wizards looks fantastic.

I still own the cd-rom of this game:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_and_Mayhem

I just bought it in 1998 or 1999 just because I knew the author was him.

About the screenshots as a clue the name of the game there's the word 'Soup' inside.
Time passes.

Day dawns.

You can download Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup for free here:

Have fun!

Oooh! "Duelo de Hechiceros"... I really loved that game. And I only found out recently that it was made by Julian Gollop, I didn't even know for many years. :)
Damn, I underestimated you guys, never knew people would guess Lords of Midnight that easily, it didn't give me the impression that it was a very well known game.

If it makes you feel better, I would have said Doomdark's Revenge :D

Btw, it seems that 2021AD ran out of patience quickly and gave out the answer to the game... Any volunteer to go next?
Alright, I'll go again then. This one is my favorite JRPG franchise.
