I can't recall whether it comes from the first game or the second game.
But it's definitely not from Hammer & Sickle.
You're right: it's not from Hammer & Sickle. ;)

Your turn.
This is a favorite of mine. Shouldn't be too difficult.

One of the "Brothers in Arms" games, would be my first guess.

Yup. Road to Hill 30 specifically. Since thats the first one in the series I wont make you guess the subtitle.

Well, thank you very much :)
To be honest - I would not have been able to precise it more.

New hint:

The developers of the game were British.

According to wiki, at their high point the company employed 50 people and was split up in five sub-groups.

The different sub-groups had been named after three British cities, one American city and one British strait.

Each of the sub-groups was supposed to develop different genres.

Fun fact: though the game in question is obviously a racing game, the sub-group responsible for its development, was not the one, destined to develop the racing games.

As publisher functioned a company with American origins, which closed shop the year after the game's release.

Of course - as is so often the case - this step was not really acclaimed.
