Hmm, this one should be hard... I certainly wouldn't know what it is if I hadn't taken the screenshot myself :-) (but then, I actually haven't played the game much)

It's The Wheel of Time.

It is, though the Yin-and-Yang symbol has been used in various incarnations, with and without dots, countless times. I'm not disappointed, I'm glad there are people who recognise the game :-) Perhaps I shall try to get through the tutorial someday.

Here I present you with a game I actually hated.
Back then, I never managed to actually land this damn plane. Every mission ended with spectacular crash into carrier's hull.

Ha! Wings Of Fury, I guessed it from the description. I always had more trouble taking off than landing, sometimes it was fine and sometimes I kept dropping into the ocean like a rock. I blame DRM, the Hellcat probably had the first version of securom
This one isn't exactly difficult but it does have one of the best soundtracks ever
