The turn goes to Andy_Panthro then.
Okay here goes.
This was a favourite of mine, and was released on a few different systems.

I totally loved it :)
But I let someone else answer this time.

Zeewolf: Ok, looks like nobody knew what this game was. Not all that surprising, TBH, I doubt it's very well known.

I seem to recall it being a competition game, where you could choose if you wanted to play a bunch of games against your friend, or just one. IIRC there was that, as well as a Wild West showdown, and a couple of others.
If you remember what it was, let me know.

I never played it but I seem to recall reading a review in a pc mag a long long long long time ago and I'm guessing it's Mega-lo-Mania (or however it was spelled)

It is. In my book, one of the best games of all time, and long overdue for a remake. Only problem is, if any commercial developer did a remake, they'd almost certainly screw it up.
Anyway, it's your turn, Zhirek.

Good morning everyone.
This is a Playstation one game.

Ah. I found it now, thanks to this info. It's called Triple Tournament. :-)

Thanks for your help.
Looks to me like Persona. I'll be back in a minute or ten once I find a new game to post.
Edit: In light of recent news, I feel it's only fitting to post this game, should be easy - I definitely remember playing it shortly after it came out.

Indeed it would, post away.
Very well
This shouldn't be much harder.

looks like Balance of Power (1990 Edition, I believe)
although I remember it in color ;)
correct and correct
not sure about the color thing though. It's always been in gray-scale when I played.
very well, as we are already in war-ish themes...
I remember playing this game with my brother countless times :)
