marcolphus: I bet it won't be hard...

That's Pyjamarama.
I don't remember if this one has been done already.

It wasn't a remake of laser squad was it?
I'd look it up properly but I'm over my net limits at the moment and am on modem speed, damned near unusable when there's 8 network devices here scrabbling for bandwidth...

Yikes. Australian internet service really sucks that bad? I feel sorry for all you Aussies.
But no, it's not a remake of Laser Squad. I didn't even know there was one. I'd better go look that up, 'cos I loved Laser Squad.
well I get 160GB a month but only 40 is for use during the day (which is rather generously defined as 10am - 3am). After that I can either be bankraped paying a premium per gig or be throttled to modem speed. The former is too expensive, I once had to pay my net bill twice in one month because of it so it's modem speed...
I remember reading something about someone remaking laser squad, might have been a fan thing
From the looks of this, it seems like it's Overlord - and looks quite interesting at that.

You're right, except I didn't know it was released with that title ever. In Europe, it was called Supremacy, which is also the title you'll see in the screenshots. But yes, it's definitely a brilliant game. You start by choosing an opponent - one of three different races with different traits and difficulties. Then you vye with said opponent for supremacy of a number of planets, hence the title of the game. You need to explore and terraform planets, train troops, and balance the economy and production of your planets. The balancing is the most important part of the game, I think. I like it, and still play it occasionally.
Okay, now I'm rambling, it's your turn ;-)
Here's the new game.

Where the hell have I seen that?!
Maybe another screen from this adventure game?

Atlantis maybe?
Not Atlantis. Maybe a hint would be of use. This adventure game is the latest in a series, and was released some time ago. Also, here's another screenshot. Unfortunately, Mobygames doesn't seem to have an English version of it, though.

Zork: Grand Inquisitor
proof
It's strange - I never played it, only screen I ever seen was with some white house and somehow I know exactly what it was the moment I looked at it, brrr... a mark of unique style, a strange and bizarre thing, sign of old days.
Zork Grand Inquisitor it is, and here's the screen you were referring to, with the white house (which is a reference to the first zork game)

Okey, mine turn.
Simple task badly presented - just how I like it.
