Can't remember the number of times I tried this game and failed. I think I never managed to play it through. Hint: the game is not just about helicopters.

Zeewolf: Okay, some hints: One of the lead developers of this game was a legend on the C64, and is still active. The last game he was credited on is Burnout Paradise. He also, pretty much single-handedly, created the classic the secret game is a sequel to. He also co-designed one of Wishbones favorite games. :-)

Wishbone: Now I just have to figure out which games you think are my favourite :-/

I'm guessing you're talking about Antony Crowther, and looking at his list of credited games on MobyGames, I can only assume you meant Bombuzal?
Yes, since you said you loved it I assumed it was one of your favorites :-)
rfc: Infiltrator?
Just got around to checking - yes, it's Infiltrator.

A new game is coming right up... a great little puzzler that I've been playing a lot lately. Has been mentioned on a variety of sites recently, so it should be easy.
Edit: Congrats Lukasz. Just wanted to add that if people buy this from Direct 2 Drive, it's apparently DRM-free (it says so on the gamepage, and I didn't notice any DRM - I just got the install file). And it's definitely worth buying if you like puzzlers. IGF-winner, too.

lukaszthegreat: somebody take my turn

May I?
I'm new to this forum, but I've found this thread wonderful.
And this is something I have played many times and I liked it, but never managed to finish the game.

Also new to the forum, and joined after finding (and reading through all pages of) this thread.
Anywho, after some searching, I think this looks like:
Nodes of Yesod
Welcome to you both :-)
Looks like it's your turn, Physicser - must be Nodes of Yesod.
Edit: Wait a minute.... it's not! :-)
It's The Arc of Yesod. :-D

Feel free to take the turn anyway, wouldn't have found it without your post. I just noticed that the UI was slightly different.

I remember playing this game quite a bit when I had it a good number of years ago. Very interesting kingdom game with a mix of different types of gameplay, capturing and interrogating enemy monsters, making traps, among others.
Unfortunately, the only screenshots I could find aren't all that great, hopefully they'll do, though.

A nice welcome from me, too :-)
The shots in question look like Dominus
Thanks to both of you!
The shots are indeed from Dominus, I suppose that makes it your turn.
I offer my turn, I've no idea ATM ...
guess this one.
Hint!
Just say what you see in the pictures
