Just legalize all the drugs, instead of just caffeine and tobacco.
If people want to abuse drugs, just let them.

You clearly don't live in an area where people get high on meth and then stab people.

I live in Colorado where weed is legal, so I'm fine with marijuana though I've zero interest in it myself, but harder drugs lead to some weird stuff. Mostly stabbings, though. Once with a screwdriver! I'd prefer to have such people locked away as far away from my stab-sensitive parts as possible, thanks.
Pot's been legal here for quite some time. Society went on as usual. In fact, I believe percentage-wise, we have less potheads here than the US. Most people don't wanna bother with it.

Alcohol is much, much worse for you than M.J. and there's no law against drinking yourself stupid. We have more trouble here with troublemakers who had a couple of beers and then start fights with others than we do with potheads.

Or even more horrible, the homeless guy high on bath salts eating another homeless guy.

I would love if it would be legalized (highly unlikely to impossible in my retarded country where prostitution is also illegal), but making both of them legal would cut down organized crime from the roots. And I also wouldn't mind if some people would smoke some to calm themselves.

rtcvb32: 3) Chemically created drugs are far harder on you than herbs.
Opium (Papaver somniferum), salvia, datura, nightshade, nutmeg, henbane, tobacco, ergot (technically a fungus, but still natural)

These are just psychoactive ones off the top of my head, the organic vs inorganic argument has literally ZERO basis in terms of safety. However, I'm all for legalization of drugs. Prohibition is inherently flawed and obviously doesn't work.

I'm suddenly reminded of watching a piece on why certain plants aren't poisonous... He then came to the conclusion that ALL plants are poisonous, it's just that we've adapted to a number of them as they changed so they don't affect us.

So everything you listed (and everything we eat) is poisonous, technically none of it is good for us...

Some people lick frogs or eat mushrooms, in small amounts they get you high, and in larger doses would kill you.

But i agree, there's plenty of natural substances and plants that aren't any good for you and will kill you.
Let them kill off their brains. More power to the rest of us.
Since this is marked as a question, my answer is that everyone's idea is :
Some are against it
Some agree to it
Some do not care

I think that covers everyone. Your welcome.

CalvikJnso: I like to smoke pot from time to time and I do not understand why they do not legalize it ( they should be all the time - who wants to smoke, who does not well not ).
