bler144: As someone who did occasionally tease her style in a gentle-natured fashion, I don't get the outright disdain. But so be it.
Like Marko, Nicole and the handful of others I hope she is doing well wherever she is IRL or online.
hedwards: I get kind of frustrated that some folks in here think that the people object to the posting somehow want her hurt somehow. I haven't seen anybody suggest that, what I have seen is folks wanting her to put some actual effort into it, perhaps, for novelty's sake, put some of her posts through a spell and grammar check before posting to eliminate at least the most egregious problems. Like Marko, Nicole and the handful of others I hope she is doing well wherever she is IRL or online.
Writing things in a public place is for the reader as much as the writer, so it should be as legible as possible, even if you don't do a proper grammar check.
Disdain doesn't mean harm, it means displaying contempt or simply a lack of respect. Would you say that dismissing her as trolling and should get off your lawn is...respect...somehow? Is yogsloth's up-voted post respectful iyo? He's entitled to his opinion, certainly. But it's not a display of kindness, empathy, or respect in any fashion.
On the second point, as someone who generally posts in complete words and sentences, sure, I agree that's my preference as well. But her posts were fully readable (well, usually) if I was inclined to spend the time sounding them out. It was in English, just encoded, so to speak.
Sometimes inscrutability or playfulness is precisely what someone is trying to communicate, and writers and poets and lyricists have always understood that form and sound can be as important as clarity. If anything, writing that way almost certainly required more effort of her as well - she could turn a single 4 letter word into 3 eight letter words. I'm not saying she's the next coming of ee cummings, but hey.
Some days I didn't bother reading her; some days I did, and yes, it required some effort. But either way, her posting never cost me anything.
But, suit yourself.
