Purely for entertainment purposes. I take it people write "GoG" because they’re used to acronyms like LoL (League of Legends), WoW (World of Warcraft), GoT (Game of Thrones), DoB (Date of Birth), etc. So, G-what of G-what? (Hint: google “words starting with g”.) My entry would be Gift of Gaming.

GOG used to stand for Good Old Games (note all three letters are capitilised). However for many years now since they rebranded, GOG does not stand for anything, it is simply a name.
