I would like to see ST: Bridge Commander get a graphical update + an open campaign hopefully with permament multiplayer map where you can improve your ship and conquer terriories and do mission.

Afew but most I don't see happening any time soon though one that I have wanted has gotten a steam page and I seriously hope gets released here as it was a game I prior wanted a remake/remaster made of but thought it was just a fantasy or pipe dream for how little chance a remake was of that game.. As well the O.G game was a victim of the early days of''release broken fix later'' mindset as back when that was a thing the infrastructure for game patching and internet wasn't really their outside of big enough cities to have very good net rather then spotty net or the like meaning it died do to have badly broken it was on release and the patch/update was about the size of the game if not bigger on data and most people wasn't having huge harddrives for the time.. let alone one would need to be on forums to know a patch happened and/or hunt around .. in this case its the game ''SiN'' and the game thats expected released in this year at the time of this message anyway and is called ''SiN: Reloaded''

To be honest the bulk of older games I want "remade" already have been done better by the modding community than the publishers paying someone to go back and update it. GZDoom (Doom 1-2, Heretic / Hexen), Darkplaces (Quake), NewDark (Thief 1-2), uPatch / Userpatch (Age of Empires 1-2), ScummVM / ResidualVM, OpenMW (Morrowind), etc, with optional HD textures that stay true to original gameplay / looks are far more what I want out of a remake / remaster than half of today's "proper" remakes that end up changing too much in all the wrong areas or exist purely to bump the price of 20 year old games back up 4-6x...

yeah i dont like those remasters imho they are just low cost "scams" , hire a few cheap grahics guys or just outsource the whole thing and then remove feature which would need actually work to be done carter in to current ideology censoring and then sell the whole thing priced a total new game

If you don't like remasters then you shouldn't like ''remade'' games and should therefore see both as ''scams'' as they are the same thing honestly .. For me what I seen as a orime example of'scams'' is the Alan Wake remaster and the Skyrim rerelease thing going on as both don't need any updating or reworks or fixs ..Alan Wake more so as the thing with that you don't see much updating to it as far as I can tell

Doom 2016 is a Reboot totally different terminology as remade and remaster are different things as can't talk about the other examples you just gave but I can say Doom 2016 is a Reboot

So you got your terms mixed up in this case or you are just trolling or something like that .. Anyway if you want a example of a remade game scenario then ''Spyro reignited Trilogy'' and ''Crash bandicoot n sane trilogy'' those are remade from the ground up but pretty much the same game as a whole otherwise outside of better graphics and gameplay as a whole

I would love a new engine for the best video game of all times, Alpha Centauri.
Ideally an open source engine, maybe Freeciv could be used as a base to build upon.

Better quality videos and higher resolution graphics would be nice too. And I think there are a couple unfixed bugs still.
Everything else is top notch already.

Dragon Age II.

Namely, I want a Remaster and re-working of the game.

Here's what I would want out of this - More difficulty modes; dungeons completely re-done and do way more unique so they don't look recycled; the Exalted Marsh Expansion that got cancelled actually gets made this time around; tac-cam put back in; more customization to party members; less of the "enemies dropping from the sky" stuff that DA2 pulls off in side-missions often in the main City of Kirkwall; etc etc.

Of course, you'd have to include the DLC's - especially since they're both great and some of the best content in the game.

Sure, since it's a remaster - add more graphics bells & whistles; improve textures; 4K support; and stuff of that technical sort.

I think this would help take the game from good but flawed and make it great.
