"Dann freut es sicher, dass gerade verhandelt wird, Bloodlines mit meinem Patch [zu GOG] zu bekommen :)!"
Then you will probably be pleased to hear that negotiations about releasing Bloodlines with my patch on GOG are in progress.

"Atrblizzard hat mich als erster angesprochen"
Atrblizzard contacted me first
Didnt know she was german. :)
Well, at least there is some kind of progress, even if they are taking their sweet time with those negotiations. xD

That is great news!
But what is "Atrblizzard"? Activision-Blizzard?
Left 4 Dead
So the maker of this unofficial patch is a woman?
Not that it matters, but i thought that all the modders (especially those with great constant dedication) were men for some reason.

Good to see variety in genders :D
Last I heard on Vampire Bloodlines, on Jan. 17, was "it's a bit complicated" - https://twitter.com/ShamsJorjani/status/688977744370253824

Hopefully if it's really up to Activision, GOG can still get it (and Emperor Middle Kingdom, SWAT 4, etc.), but we should know not to get our hopes up.

One that I played this morning that will never appear here methinks is

EA Cricket 96

there shouldn't be any reason not to bring it here, other than EA fogetting about it, as it's got no recognized cricketer in it, just a bunch of random names.

At least we know that our votes were worth enough to get Activision (or whoever) to take action, even if we might not get it yet.

Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom would also be great.
- Paraworld
- Worldshift

;(
Strike Fleet. Apparently...

At 22,000 votes, GOG - at least - would be incredibly foolish to ignore it. ;-) AFAIK, the only reason they did ignore it when Activision was "Activ" here was because of the $20 price tag, but now with $20 old-ish games like Morrowind, that should be far less of an issue.

Less spoken about is Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (published by Activision), which would be a great snag for GOG too - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/empires_dawn_of_the_modern_world

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic will never Gome to GOG. It was developed by Valve and Valve created Steam.
It's interesting almost all famous Japanese companies and their franchise are in this list. Capcom, Konami, Square Enix...

We are getting past the usual two genders, yes.

LiefLayer: batman arkham (franchise)
dragon age (franchise)

because the last game of dragon age and batman arkham (inquisition and knight) use denuvo drm. also dragon age is a franchise of EA, so they want you to use origins.

also final fantasy (franchise) because square enix doesn't know what is drm-free (the best they can do is don't use square enix drm... like steam or app store (for mobile)).
even steam won't sell the latest Dragon's Age game after a Disagreement with the 2nd one where the DLC was being sold in game and not in the storefront

Wrong. It was made by Arkane Studios, Arx Fatalis of which is available on GOG. They only licensed Source Engine from Valve. You can even install the retail release WITHOUT Steam, too.

I don't hold my hopes for DRM-free Dishonored, another classic from them, coming here though. *fires up Steam to play it with no contention*
