GameRager: When I got my hands on it the internet was a thing but I wanted to do it a bit on my own if I could....fun times(especially those blasted squares that would turn you around or teleport you to other areas).
==============================
If you like it i'd recommend getting the 2nd/3rd on console.....I loved them both even with the 3rd's generic weapons/optional microtransactions/locked co-op only(rare though) areas, and the 3rd's DLC is one of the best endings I have ever seen in the genre.
I plan to get a used PS3 (I gifted mine to a depressed friend soon after having bought it at launch) or PS4 as many will upgrade to PS5 and flood the market with used ones...so I will be able to play the prequel Dead Space Extinction and many PS exclusives that I have missed, and the sequels of course. I love GOG but sadly we can't get all the fun we want on GOG alone. ==============================

Yes, I remember drawing maps for Eye of the Beholder as well, problem was, I sucked at it! In Grail Quest gamebooks I could blame the author, because Grail Quest maps were just impossible. But in EofB it must have been my fault.
