I tried, didn't work. If you get ahead of him it says "You lost him" and it's over.

Please watch Youtube link you don't need to be ahead of him just yet, just wait a while then accelerate soon after he shoots the first rocket, just fly forward ahead of him when the island is near the second rocket will hit your just before the cutscene.

But i was able to dodge the rocket simply by strafing and lowering my altitude at the same time.

Did you get a checkpoint?

no
It took me back the beginning when you first drive to the casino.

They didn't add checkpoints until EFLC

Problem with that is, it takes away all your armor which is why the cop was able to kill me. I was on a "restart" so I had to run the whole thing without armor and was down to almost no health.

And.....I QUIT.
I think 14 times is enough.

Freespace 2. Been in a straightforward space shooter mood lately. Be a bit before I get used to the controls as I don't have a joystick.

Empire Total War

Shogun 2 Total War

Star Trek Online

Can't play much made after 2012 on this here laptop so it's a good thing GoG and to a lesser extent Steam are around.

I would play NWN 2 but I can't seem to change resolutions without it crashing anymore.

There is a fix for that! :D
Happened to me last week.

When you get to the Options, for Windowed or Full Screen, select Windowed, click OK, THEN go back, change the resolution, then OK. THEN go back.....again....and change it to Full Screen.

Should work.

In Elex, my hero join in the berserker faction and after finished few promotion quests he became a Warrior rank.
Soon I finished another promotion quests for a Paladin, but I had not been level 25 for the requirement of it.
I finished all quests (except impossible ones to beat too strong enemies), and became level 24. And then, I was aimlessly wondering the north-east area(near the Cleric faction city) and beat any monsters for the exp. Finally I did level up to 25 and became a Paladin.
Now I look for the Paladin armor which requires one level to equip (I am slightly low to require status). Another grinding...:D

Also, after impossible to play Giten Megami Tensei because of game breaking bugs, I started in Wizardry Empire 1 on PS1.
My party is Fighter, Samurai, Thief, Priest, Bishop, Mage. They explored near entry area in the first dungeon. Now they became level 3-4, yet they are too week to exploring deep area.

There are about 3-4 people you need to shoot on an island, you were SO close.

I deleted the saves. Around time 13 or 14 the game started freezing again, a notorious bug for the title, and that clinched it for me. I deleted the saves so as not to tempt me going back. XD Maybe down tbe road I'll try again. And TBH, it is a pretty week entry in the series. If it had the "life" of SA or VC I might have been more compelled to keep trying.
Mostly focusing on one game I've been meaning to try.

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

A simple concept for sure, but one I am immensely enjoying. It's calming and quite engaging. Certainly a fun one, and worth the $20 I got it for.

I've also been trying out Skyrim again. I still prefer Oblivion and Morrowind, but I am enjoying Skyrim much more than I did.
