Bought SS2! only to find my laptop that was made in 2007 cant run it because of the large areas in the game.........................

So I'm back to play through Arx Fatalis which is awesome! and I would totally suggest it to anyone who wants to play through an awesome RPG.

Chapter 1 was hard, chapter 2 3 and 4 (so far) are easy. The game took a nosedive (quality) after chapter 2

What's the problem? My 2008 non-gaming laptop seems to play it great (the original retail version + official patch 2.3 + unofficial patch 2.4).

Somehow I feel it will run great even on my 2004 non-gaming laptop, considering I have run much more demanding games on it too (e.g. Morrowind, even Half-life 2 (barely)).

Playing Dragon Age - Origins a lot right now.

Recently stopped playing Fallout3, even though I have played the game on my new rig, suddenly I couldn't continue my game as it kept hanging when I clicked load game, even after having tried an abundance of possible fixes mentioned and even re-installed the game. It just hangs. Alas, I've gotten quite far already and really liked it.

I got SS1 17years ago,but clunky controls and endless respawn of enemies frustrated me,so abandoned it.Some mods partially solve it,it's playable now.

Inspired by Kikoskia's Let's Play, I've been working my way through Anvil of Dawn.

I was never really into the first person dungeon crawler type of games growing up, favoring games like Ultima and (later) Baldur's Gate, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I might have to dig into more examples of this genre after completing it.

Finally decided to give the good ole Tomb Raider a whirl again. Despite the slightly clunky controls (even back then), it's still great fun. It's enjoyable as ever looking for hidden nooks for those secret items, even if it is completely improbable finding ammo and health in areas where noone's been in centuries. ;)
