Matewis: Jenny Mcarthy as Tanya is a bit weird though. I preferred Kari Wuhrer from RA2 :P
*puts on Hipsterglasses*
I liked Tanja when she was played by Lynne Litteer in C&C Red Alert.

Well that is the most badass and believable version :) The chair kill clip was the best : https://youtu.be/W8q7hghWSXQ?t=606
Report from the frontline:

The first enemy has been beaten. The Netherlands' base is in ruins and their last armies are starving to death. While feinting with my armies to make the blockading enemy armies give me an opening I sent a dozen of my trusty cossacks to the home base of the one that looked weakest. While the Turks harassed them on one side I did the same on the other and after a while they had nothing. Meanwhile the attacks on my fort continue but my lines are holding. Now if I could somehow sick the two remaining foes against it each other for a little while, I should be able to make a force strong enough to take the war to one of them while beating off the last at my walls until only they remain and then it will be time to smash the Algerians.
Wealth beyond measure, outlander.

Playing it vanilla, except for the community patch. After a while you see past the ugly surface and it becomes quite enjoyable.

Red Faction with the DashFaction patch/launcher. Not bad. FPS on rails, with some branching that ultimately takes you to the same destination as the main path.

One stealth section was giving me fits, so I tried again without taking the offered disguise and went in guns blazing instead. I like that there was the option to go that route. Was also able to take a vehicle segment on foot instead of driving. Decent flexibility, though there are also some areas where there is a single puzzle-ish solution.
GUN
Sunless Sea

I like this game. I've never liked roguelikes (except some ASCII based rpgs years ago), but this one is so much different!

Captain's log:
Do not fight Lifeberg. At least do not fight them with your first ship without any upgraded weapons. RIP my first captain, Wymoczek, died December 8th, 1887. Now, let's try again ;)

Faery - Legends of Avalon - - quite fun. You get to play as faery and fly around doing quests, story is meh, I'm still at the beginning, but immersion is complete. In the first act there are a number of quests that are branching out. I was told it's never finished and some people may not be able to run it, due to being old game.

Also playing Drakensang the river of time.

Both games are available on steam.
34h into Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition on Linux with this script.
No crash so far and great performance.

Giving Red Alert 3 a proper go. I really wanted to play the campaign coop with a friend, but gamespy which RA3 uses is down, and the workaround using CnC online works fine on my win 7 system but refuses to work on my friend's win 10 system :\

The game certainly is a spectacle. Unfortunately based on the 8 or so levels I've played the game is very easy compared to RA2.

Aw that's a pity. I'll still try it though, seeing as RA3 was the last true CnC title :(
But I do take comfort in the fact that I haven't finished the Soviet campaign yet in RA2, and I haven't even touched the excellent Yuri's Revenge expansion.
Come to think of it, I haven't finished the original Red Alert's expansions either.
I have bought few days ago Mortal Kombat XL and I am kimd of not enjoying it as previous games. Probably I am now too old for that stuff. The funny thing is, that my girlfriend really enjoys the game much more than I do :-D

And as a side project I have started my first run of Final Fantasy XII on PS4. The start of the game feels still slowpaced as all these years ago on PS2 :-)
Beat Hollow Knight but it was the crappy ending, so I've got just a little more work to do on it.
Currently replaying Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Venice is wonderful, but I had forgotten how difficult (if you want to avoid fist fights) the castle section is.
