Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (DS). I'm having fun with it so far, and the touch controls are alright for the most part.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Mount & Blade: Warband. Both games are actually really fun when it comes to combat. I'm trying to shuttle between playing these two games whenever I have the time since they're starting to get boring to me.

It's great to hear that you're having fun with it the same way as I did back then. It was and will always be one of the best NDS games that I've played before.

Having a bit of a time getting decently into The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.
The enemy AI... it reminds me of somehow an even earlier ancestor to the brutal one a friend showed me as used in Dark Souls 2. Everything will very much not hesitate to try and kill you... just the group/pack behavior isn't as sophisticated. Lots and lots of dying while getting used to the combat system. Hehe.

Other than that grabbing and tweaking all manner of Neverwinter Nights modules and campaigns off the NWN vault and generally wondering if/when GOG will get rights/access to the licensing for that 2013 Neverwinter which came later.
Also, [I] dread when people are going to begin to ask about Legends of the Sword Coast as from most review places I've read a lament that it is an unapologetic though somewhat polished hack and slash falling into that all too modern gaming development pitfall of hyping everybody up with expectations of lots of customization and decision making only to pull the wool out from under you at the last moment with what plays out to not that much freedom in a fancy aesthetically albeit rather linear gameplay mechanics package. One that leaves a sort of bitter mouth taste of generic-ness. Eek.

Saints Row 2

Having a blast with this. But some advice:

Saints Row 2 Rule #1: never...EVER...let one of your own Homies pick up an RPG. Ka-fucking-BOOOM!!!

It's great that they are smart enough to pick up better weapons. But when it's an RPG, they will happily shoot an enemy standing right in front of them, blowing up the enemy sure, also themselves, you and the 10 cars we're standing next to as well. Right before the finish of the mission too. Checkpoint time.

Re-installed Driv3r recently. I remember getting real hyped for this game after all the trailers etc. but I did not remember playing it. Now I know why, it was a defense mechanism of my unconscious. This game is REALLY bad. It is such a disappointment. It could've been great: how many sandbox games is set in Nice or Istanbul that let you drive around in big musclecars offering high octane car chases? The cut-scenes are excellent the story is ok but when the gameplay actually starts it all falls apart in a moment. The game is ugly as sh*t, the controls are terrible (car controls is quite alright but the on foot sections are laughable), a difficulty is much too hard and the whole game got an unfinished feeling to it(glitches everywhere). Really if you're thinking about trying it out then don't do it! For your own sake! It may look good in the videos (thanks to the in-game editor) but it's just a horrible game.
Driver 1 on the other hand is a gem and should be here on GoG.
Freespace: Silent Threat

Mission "Cloak and Dagger" was otherwise pretty good and a varied mission (in insane difficulty), but it was unclear to me why I kept failing the primary objectives. After all the friendly transports had already jumped out and all enemies were destroyed, the mission just continued with no clear indication if it was successful or not. And if I jumped out, then it would congratulate me for preventing pirates from getting any of the crates, but still say the mission was failed. I just couldn't figure out what had failed, did some transport got destroyed, or some cargo, or what?

Then one time I finally cleared it somehow. Maybe I was able to scan and destroy the pirate transports (four) before any of them reached a crate, or maybe my wingmen were able to destroy enemy fighters and bombers before they could destroy any transports or crates? Not sure, but in the end I cleared it, I think I got the secondary and bonus objectives too...

Now on the mission "Field of Destruction". God damn I hate these asteroid field missions, also the one which was in the base game. It seems very hard to destroy asteroids in time, there are suddenly so many of them around, a whole wall of them. And on top of that enemy fighters appear there too.

One walkthrough claims it is supposed to be an easy mission (difficulty rating 3 out of 10), while another walkthrough suggests it is pretty much impossible to finish on the insane level, UNLESS you are able to keep e.g. the first enemy wing alive so that no enemy bombers appear near the end, and on top of that destroy those asteroids fast enough.

I already tried so that I gave my wingmen Distruptor guns and told them to disable the last enemy from the first wing, and they succeeded in that, the fighter got disabled. Then I told them to ignore that fighter (so that they won't destroy it), and I thought no more fighters would come and we could all concentrate on shooting asteroids as fast as we can.

But no, a new enemy wing came anyway after awhile, even though that one disabled enemy fighter was still around. So I don't know if that walkthrough was wrong claiming new enemies will not come if old enemies are still alive, or aren't disabled enemies considered "alive" in this case? Either way, phuck it. 3/10 difficulty, yeah right. It is a very hard mission. Maybe that walkthrough writer was playing it on Easy level.

Also decided to continue Daggerfall, when I found out why am I not advancing in ranks in the Mage's Guild. Ok now I got bumped to Mage Guild rank 3 at least, I need to be at rank 6 before I can use the guild's "Summon Daedra"-service in order to get a quest to obtain Oghnum Infinitum(sp?) which will give me oodles of skill points.

Also my main level got bumped to 5, which also meant I got yet another letter concerning the main quest(s). I was supposed to go to see some prince in another province and city, whose father was friends with that ghost (when he was still alive) etc. I'm in that Sentinel Castle now, but I just can't find that prince.

I found the Queen and another Prince there though, and that prince wanted to give me some quest that by the sound of it could grant me some artifact from necromancers. I couldn't figure out what artifact, but I decided to take that quest because artifacts are gooooood! I wish it would be that damn Oghnum Infinitum, but I probably won't be so lucky.

At this point Daggerfall has reduced to me to just try to bump up my character to be more powerful, and be done with that main campaign. I think it will still take quite a long time mainly because levelling up and advancing in this game seem soooo slow and tedious. E.g. skills seem to advance only 1% per 12 hours sleep, no matter how much I train them, and it seems to take ages both to get your guild rank and character level up, also because they seem to depend on several different factors.

At least I found that way to train a couple of my magic skills with that fake spell (casting and cancelling that spell over and over again, and then sleeping on it), but even then I seem to advance very slowly. I wouldn't want to think how long it would take if I didn't use this "empty training spell"-trick.

Just started Witcher 3 last weekend. I'm still getting the hang of things but I love the tweaks they made to the combat. Taking on a gang of monsters and making them miss over and over by the doing those little side-step moves never gets old. Of course, I'm still not that good at it. I can punch a bit above my weight but there are a lot of encounters I have to run away from because I'm a wimpy little Geralt who can't take on bad guys with double-digits in their levels.

I've also been playing Grandia, which so far is one of the best JRPGs I've played, although I'm going to have to pace myself because I've started feeling impatient the last couple of sessions I spent on it and from what I read, I still have anywhere from 45 to 85 hours of playtime remaining *gulp*

Ah yes, Mr Mako. Let's design a vehicle that has control balanced around a center of movement tied to an analog aiming reticle. Good idea.

Still playing Sacred Gold [1] I messed up [well the game did] Can't turn in some quests. after having a read about.. was due to doing another quest. so stupid. why should side quests interfere with the main quest. and vice versa. sloppy programming.
Minecraft

Patch 1.9. Damn, it's hard to get used the new combat. I actually died to a creeper and lost all my diamond gear and armor and 6 diamonds + food, 60 arrows, iron ore etc. But the new shields are cool though.
After playing through Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (which was fun for the most part), I wanted to go ahead and start playing the Sigma series. Currently on chapter 4 of the first Sigma title.

Edit: Whoops, it was chapter 4, not 3.
