On medium graphics, with no AA and 1366×768 resolution it's run's pretty well. There are some slow downs here and there, especially if you zoom out in certain areas, but the game is more than playable.

No problem, and yeah, even though it is playable on my laptop I'll definitely want to play it again one day on a proper PC to experience the game in all it's blade-runner-esque glory.

Just getting started The Temple of Elemental Evil for the first time.
My Law-Good Party (Paladin, Dwarf Fighter, Hobbit Thief, Priest, Sorcerer. Well,a typical party) explored the hub city and then went to a bandit ruin.

I've played BG1,2 and Icewind 1,2,so getting into the game system is no problem.

I just finished Life is Strange last night. I thought it was basically a Telltale adventure game, though made by someone else and done better. Loved it.

Playing Rocket League in one hour bursts now, while I wait for my new PC so that I can finally get into The Witcher 3.

Just beat the career path in FlatOut 2 yet again. Good times. :) Also beat the Halo 5 campaign. I'm not sure what I'll play next, but I think my XBone will take a break for while, one way or another.

Well, I decided to finally give Hitman: Codename 47 a proper go. I thought I almost had Hong Kong wrapped up, but NOPE! Fiber wires missed, guy's calling out the alarm, and I end up riddled with bullets. GRRRRR! Back to the beginning of the level then. =/ At least I pretty much know what to do now.

Despite the at times fiddly and awkward controls, no saves, considerable trial and error, and difficulty spikes, I'm actually quite enjoying it. The only thing kind of bothering me is that all them other guards are carrying weapons, but even when dressed up as one of them I get shot up as soon as they even see what could be considered a weapon. Talk about inconsistencies! =P

I've finished Fallout New Vegas and I'm starting right over with a second playthrough. This time in hardcore mode.

Also: Borderlands 2.

Shovel Knight

This game is awesome! I just started playing yesterday and i'm having a blast. :)
At first i was skeptical because of the hype about the game but it does indeed live up to it.

What i really like about the game is that it runs smooth on my shabby old PC with Intel integrated graphics. That's how a retro-platformer is done right - it should run on both newer PCs and older low end PCs.

And while i'm usually a cheapskate i must say that Shovel Knight is well worth the 10€ sale price.

Fallout 4

Am having a blast. Not sure what all the negative fuss is about. Its an open world game with open world game-type problems. No worse than any open world game before it.

But it has all the good along with the bad. (excellent voicework, massive exploration ripe with tons of collectibles along with genuine uses for the junk you find), good story, great visuals, very nice time piece, etc. I prefer it over Skyrim. Even though I ended up liking Skyrim OK, it took a bit to get into before I was having fun. Not so with F4. Immediate immersion followed by a superb playing experience.

If I were to guess, I'd imagine most of those complaining weren't paying attention to system specs. There are genuine bugs, but I've not come across anything game breaking.

I think this game encourages the same thing all other games do... wait until the game of the year versions. If enough people wait until the game is stable before buying, perhaps devs will find more motivation to release stable games?

Still, I've only encountered 2 issues. One is that my face texture keeps turning black. This only affects cut scenes or dialogue with NPCs. Its just visual, so the game still plays. And the more significant one, Settlement happiness is bugged (which only affects an achievement).

They have already released 3 major patches and I suspect more is in the works.

I would eagerly recommend this game to anyone who either enjoys the ES series or the Fallout series. Doubly so if you like them both. Its a very fun open world exploration based RPG with a fantastic cast of voices (stephen russell and courtney ford to name but 2), and a fun soundtrack to boot. Plus... you know... Mutants!

I'm staring futily at my videogames collection and not coming up with anything, I hate that.

So I'm watching Twister.

Darkest Dungeon. Only Darkest Dungeon at the moment. It is amazing. Best fun gaming I've had in some time.

That and Punch Club are my current games. Surprisingly, they both have that 'come on, just play me a little bit more' feel, despite calls for boring repetition by others. I don't think I'd ever get bored of Darkest Dungeon.

Part of my quality measuring for a game is whether or not I'd rather be playing it than online chatting with other people about playing it. Right now I just hopped on to get the new patched version of it and go back to playing it.
