Matewis: I never really found it all that necessary to trade with other islands during endless play. Usually it was enough just to specify what I wanted to buy and sell at my docks. Visits from the free trader and the other AI players to my docks were usually enough to move the items I wanted. Not that I never traded directly with the other islands, just that it was rarely if ever necessary. It's incredibly important to set up your own tool industry though, no later than citizen level.
I was just fooling around a bit in endless mode and didn't specify what to buy and sell at my dock. :D

Thanks for the tips, i'll keep them in mind when i give the game another whirl.
Pillars of Eternity! (Thank you so much again anothername and moonshine / Sinistar).

I actually had a hard time "getting into this one" once I started venturing out beyond the first town. I found it a bit overwhelming, especially the number of spells (I went with a druid and quickly picked up a mage and priest) and the three (yes THREE!) types of character "health."

I'm glad I stuck with it and grabbed a few levels. Once I "figured out" a good flow of combat with my party the game really started to click. The story so far seems to play a background role but I'm having fun doing a bit of dungeon delving. I just wandered a few levels deep into the one beneath my new stronghold and came up for air after encountering a couple ogres (and burning through said spells!). After that I decided to return to starter town to clear out a few quests and check out that old temple...

Fun game!
I am playing Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm, it's a free and pretty fun and casual game. It's different from other MOBAs because there is no farming, and supports are considered good and not second class. The community is by far less toxic than any other MOBA I've seen.

The game involves heroes from all Blizzard's franchises Diablo / StarCraft / WarCraft. It has little on personal skill so getting into it is pretty smooth, and they are having a Christmas event starting tomorrow. I have a promotional link for free stuff for new players if you're interested - send me a message and I'll give it to you.
Just started Shadowrun:Dragonfall

Emob78: Wars of Napoleon.

Great game, but it's the Napoleon campaign of 1805-1815 with 7 day turns. That's over 500 turns for 10 years of a grand campaign with over a dozen European countries battling it out. It makes my brain hurt wondering how long a single campaign is going to take to finish.

Cbob60: AGEOD is great, just starting Revolution under Siege Gold.

Also playing Endless Legend from Amplitude. Must say, the French make good games.
I'm an Ageod game vet, but even for me that game requires a massive amount of patience. The AI turns take forever to process, plus you have to juggle unit production, diplomacy, and strategy all at the same time.

Don't get me wrong, they're great games, but they're not exactly 'casual gamer' friendly. I've heard from some Ageod fans that they'll often spend nearly an hour making decisions for every turn. I'm not sure if modern gamers would have the patience to do more than 2 or 3 turns before losing their minds.
Dragon Age Inquisition + All DLC [it was a gift]

Don't know why people put this game down, it's great fun, and very funny. I enjoyed DAO and DA2, and this is just as good, to me it's a mix of Oblivion [rifts] grinding materials [WoW] and Skyrim [crafting weapons and armour]

I'm using my gamepad, these things are bad, my shoulder feels broken, can just about lift my left arm up [taking a couple days break from the game]

I'm no good at writing reviews, so I don't :P

ME "what's your name"
Trainer "I'm your trainer"
ME "That's not a name, what's your real name"
Trainer "I'm your trainer"

all the best

PS lol I'm expecting to hear "ENCHANTMENT" !

I`m trying to play Divine Divinity, but the difficulty is too ridiculously high, so I think I will stop playing it!
I'm playing Advance Wars on the GBA and Shadowrun: Returns on my PC :)

Too true; definitely for the hardcore 'wargamer' niche. Though Alea Jacta Est and Wars in America are somewhat easier to get a grasp on.
Hm, I play many games at the time, but my current "hand" is Warframe, Apotheon, Chantelise, and HuniePop.

I'd definitely recommend Wars in America for a first timer when it comes to Ageod games. WIA has no unit production, very limited politics and a much more simple UI. In fact, it's still a great game, probably one of the few Ageod titles where you can load it up and just play a few quick turns before going onto something else.

Wars of Napoleon on the other hand. It's up there with Pride of Nations or even Gary Grigsby games on the technical skill level. I'm a wargamer for sure... but a journeyman at best. I'll never rise to the level of those grognard board gamers of the 70s and 80s. As they say, 'amateurs study tactics. Professionals study logistics.' Many years later I'm still trying to answer that one for myself.
~15 hours into Satellite Reign and really enjoying it.

Playing with the options "real time with pause" and "uber damage" on, which I think would remove some frustrations from the normal game. It's still tough but I haven't gotten majorly stuck anywhere yet, and I just have one more side mission left in the second district. There seems to be a lot of game here.

To be honest, I'd have liked to see more (full?) environment destruction (even if it broke things), but at least we got something. It's not quite as awesome as Syndicate Wars (and not as chaotic without all the buildings exploding around you), but the tactical gameplay is great and I really like the look, sound, and atmosphere of the game.
-Diablo 2=Farming Diablo so I can get MUH sets of armor and doing other characters if some college friends still want to play online.

-Splinter Cell Chaos Theory=Thank god my cousin went to Canada and left this little gem with Starcraft 2 still on their packaging a long time ago, along with he making me aware of GBA emulation with Pokemon, there haven't been games that I have played more, even to this day.

-Max Payne 3=I am hating this shit on my Xbox360, it's prequel with the controls of GTA, and the storyline of Bulletstorm fuck this shit.
Fallout 4 - It's uhm... bland. I mean, it's not a bad game but i'm not feeling that sensation of exploration that i had with F3 and NV, besides, the quests are really boring and uninteresting, the most promising one that i played so far (The Cabot House) ended in a disappointing way.

At least the gameplay continues to be satisfacting, especially considering how dumb the dialogues are (and i did play Shadowrun HK recently so that makes the problem more aggravating). Now, having to defend/help settlements is starting to get boring, the xp is good but dear lord, this whole "manage your settlements" feels like an afterthought, it's hard (clunky) to make buildings and give orders to the settlers (hell, i have to go around the buildings to find them).

Gauntlet Slayer Edition - It was one of the ps+ service titles "offered" this month and i have been playing with friends... eh, it's boring, i didn't played the old version so perhaps i don't have the nostalgia to help me out but considering other similar games that i've played (action crpg?) this feels like a mindless kill everything on the screen game, you get some gold to buy new stuff and skills but it takes so long to get that gold that you will finish the game with only a few unlocks.

The Escapists - The game looks interesting but it has a major flaw, it doesn't really teach you anything (just a simple tutorial), so it's either:
a) Pause the game and use the game wikipedia;
b) Watch some Let's play;
c) Give up and play something else.

Dunno, i know that there are some people that like to learn by themselves (especially roguelikes) and i played similar titles that required some learning (and some internet/wikia research) but this one has proven to be the most challeging yet in that regards.

Gothic first playing is on going.
My nameless hero became level 7 and joined the old camp faction.
Finally at last he get a decent armor !
Right now he is clearing monsters( wolf, bee and lizards) in the forest areas around the city,
The entire map in this game is rather small compared to other RPGs such as Skyrim, but quality is very high and I enjoyed exploring it.
