Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. I've just killed the Shadow Dragon.
I'm still being patient, until the gaming gods smile apon me again. I F**KING HATE BEING PATIENT! :P
I`m playing King's Bouny Dark Side for 3 months now. Man, this game is long. But I think I`ll finnish it in less than 48 hours. I bought it at sale and was well worth it.
"Suffering through the tortures of the damned sir, the tortures of the damned"

A gamer not playing games is a sad washed up creature indeed. Thank god for Voyager or I'd be lost to the dark abyssm, lost I say!

Xenonauts, since the stream was up with Video Game Carnage. I haven't played it for so long since it was released, and I'll be damned if I don't actually finish a game before I stop. Such a fun game if things go your way, yet so painfully infuriating when they don't.

I love the Kings Bounty games, The Legend was my favorite. Was bored with Warriors, and I bought and played a little bit of Dark Side, but I put it to the side for some reason. :P But yeah, those games are extra long and juicy. Is Dark Side really good?

I really liked King's Bounty series (The Armored Princess and The Legend a little more than the others).
In Dark Side you aren't limited to the same race so I find it less boring than Warriors of the North.
There are some long and unexplained quests which solution I had to search online because I didn't know what I was suppose to do and why the hell isn't the quest finished.
Also there are some annoying quests which spawned some troops in regions that I already cleared.

Apart from that I think Dark Side is great and I recomend it to anyone who liked the previous titles.
I'm playing 2013 Shadow Warrior and loving every minute of it. Gorgeous game, great gun / swordplay, funny if you enjoy the juvenile stuff and just a metric ton of fun.

Also splitting a bit of time with Van Helsing 2 - while it grabbed me initially and though I do enjoy it quite a bit 1) SW keeps calling and 2) there are just a few bits that keep it from being that "next level" of great, for me. Really well done game all and all, but for me missing that "something" to grab me - which is funny because the first night or so with the game I thought it had it in spades.

LOVED this game - was sucked in for about three solid months just recently. I actually never beat it. I wish the game tied events to the player's tech level or something - as it is I think the appearance of certain craft / aliens is tied to in-game time - which caused the end game to really plod for me. As I had already put in a ton of time and enjoyed every minute of it, I decided to shelve the game.

Hmmm I might have to relook at these games. I have Crossworlds and The Legend and started whichever one is first and right at the beginning I thought it was so damn cheesy (and not in a good way) I quickly turned it off and never looked back. I felt really bummed because they looked like games I would really enjoy, and I just couldn't get past the initial dialogue it was so atrociously written. Maybe I should give them another chance?

It's my favorite non-adventure game. It can be very cheesy, but I love the level of troop customization (you can have *dragons* on your team), the graphics are gorgeous, the music is catchy, and the length is the longest ever. :P I would definitely give it another shot, just don't expect awesome story. ;)

It's usually a good story that keeps me coming back to a game, or at least some decent writing. It's hard for me to stay involved if the context surrounding the game is lame. Is the gameplay that riveting that with how super-long it is and lacking of story you were compelled to keep playing? That shows promise, I unfortunately didn't even play a second of it! I was hugely disappointed as The Legend and Crossworlds became 2 games that joined the only 2 other games that I have in my library under the tag "unlikely" to be played some time ago, it is nice to take them off of that list and give them another chance thanks to this. Maybe someday The Witcher and The Witcher 2 will come off that list, but I doubt it.

I agree, I usually 99% of the time play for story and characters. But the gameplay and picking what troops could be on your team really interested me. Seriously any type of units you wanted, there's a unit for you. So many different troops for demons, undead, humans, elves, dwarves, creatures, dragons, lizards, dinosaurs. ;) And the story was campy but fun. I liked the Witcher, but got tired of it in the middle an put it on the back burner.

Cool, again, thanks for the encouragement! I tried The Witcher twice. Made it 20 hours in my first time and severely disliked it and put it away. Then some time later I decided to give another try from the beginning (I was ready to go back at it blank-slate no pre-judgement based on my previous play), got about 25 hours into it and just really hated it and couldn't bear thinking of spending more time with it, perma-delete. I had already bought The Witcher 2 (most money I'd spent on a game in YEARS, thinking it was going to kickass no-doubt because of all the positives I'd heard about 1+2) and downloaded it before realizing I would most likely never play it, it really bums me out.

I know what you mean. I hear great things about some games and buy them, and even though everyone else seems to love it, I don't. Torchlight comes to mind, among others. :) But really, it's up to you. If you're not enjoying Kings Bounty or the Witcher, don't force it. You're playing for your own entertainment.
More Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. So many god damn bonfires, but I got two greater souls so far.
