stryx: Don't have those spells to be cast simultaneously? I thought that two mages had to cast the spells at the same time...
No, Petrify lasts for a few seconds and you just need to cast Stonefist within that window of oppertunity. The same goes for other spells that can be combined into a new effect - you just need to cast the second one before the effect of the first one wears off. You can cast Cone of Cold and then Walking Corpse Bomb for a nice effect.
The demo for Risen 2.

I'm not in love with the beginning of it and how it handles a few things story and character wise, but it's not THAT different in terms of gameplay.
Doom 1 & 2
After all of this news of the new Doom (4) I'd figure I would give these classics a more welled look over(I'm more a Wolfenstein 3D fan). I feel like I'm spending most of my time trying different source ports for the best classic/usability mix but when I do play I am enjoying the game more than I thought I would.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Finally have it for my computer now, can start packing away my xbox 360 after all these years.
To bad I played it so much on my xbox.. Well I guess there's always modding :)

Supreme Commander 2
Not nearly as good as Supcom 1 but eh not too bad and the commanders look cool.
Played first mission, story feels/sounds bad, UI is so different and missions(first one at least) are very short compared to the first game.

Capitalism Plus
The more I play this game the more I love it. Adjusting to working the stock market and merging firms. Next going to try R&D stuff and produce things at factory's.

Rome: Total War
One of those games I always wanted to play when I was younger but couldn't, now I finally have it.
Taking some time to get use to the way it works, kinda like a Grand Strategy/RTS mix.
The Witcher 3 is absorbing waaaaay more time than it should.
Another contract here, another potion there, let me look what's happening in that hallway, I need to know how the main plot unfolds... :P
I am enjoying it just as much as it runs badly on my system perfectly matching the recommended requirements. Seriously, it feels like they have programmed it only for Maxwell chipsets... especially when there are fire or smoke around.

Also, I'm about to finish Technobabylon, a great cyberpunk adventure game.
This week, I played AVP2000, and Beyond Divinity.
I recomend Beyond Divinity for every RPG fan!
I'm checking out Stalker Clear Sky for the first time. I've been curious about it for a long time, especially since I loved the first one (after a couple of patches that is)
Unreal Tournament '99, picked up during the sale.
Witcher 3 and Grimrock 2.Please dont ask how i manage :p
Ultima Underworld, the first. Fantastic
Life Is Strange, Mortal Kombat 2, Heartstone and Heart of Darkness.

Hiya, what's your impression of Life is Strange so far?
Ive admired DONTNOD's art direction since Remember Me so this game insta clicked with me.
Preetty much just holding out for the hinted physical edition once all Eps are out

EDIT:Im well aware Remember Me and Life is Strange belong to entirely different genres.I happen to like both!

Love it. It gets better with each episode and choice/consequence system is much better than anything TellTale ever did. I'll probably pick up the physical version too but what I like about it being an episodic game is theorizing between the episodes, like what certain mysteries mean, where will story go etc. In that way it's kinda like a good TV show. And I like the art style, it's something between drawn and realistic. Have in mind when looking at the screenshot that I play on slow laptop at low settings. But the game still looks beautiful

Yes it definately does look pretty.thanks for the input. I dont dislike episodic formats either tbh.Starcraft 2 and all that for example. But ill always choose physical over digital (GoG being the exception because i make my own DRM free boxes and discs.I simply DO love a shelf full of game boxes) and so id rly rather wait for the entire pentalogy (its too be 5 episodes total right?).A GoG release would be nice too since the physical will most likely be steam enabled.Oh well we shall see wont we?
