That is great to hear, I've been eyeing that game for a while. I only play those types of games once in a great while, but I do play them if they seem like they will be good, so I am definitely going to keep it on the to-get list!

I had started Gothic (YES! Finally! Thanks to moonshineshadow!) and got several hours into that until I realized I wanted to finish Wasteland 2 before I started -another- involving RPG. I was really liking Gothic so far, though, nothing against it at all that I stopped for now. I just didn't want to divide my attention from it with W2. Especially since they are going to be coming out with the new W2 version this summer and it is going to take me quite a while to finish it (don't get much time on games this time of year.)

I had started Wasteland 2 when it released (got a copy for backing Torment), just to create my party and get used to the game. I played into Ag. Center and then stopped playing and waited for the last patch to pick it back up again. Now I've been playing it a bit more and am in the Canyon of Titan. Loving every minute of it, really, and figure it is going to get better and better as I get deeper.

Postal 2: Paradise Lost. I've been having some fun with it and am currently on Thursday, however I won't be playing it again for a while thanks to something that just occurred in game that immediately and effectively killed my interest in it.

I'm not going to say that the entire expansion pack is bad, it's just not nearly as fun as the base game thanks to Paradise Lost drawing more from Apocalypse Weekend than the base game itself. You may find that a good thing if you liked Apocalypse Weekend, I myself found it be enjoyable at times but mostly just tedious.

I'll return to finish it eventually, for now I just hope that it was successful enough to convince Running With Scissors to make an actual sequel.

Playing new game called Windward and also going back through Borderlands 2

Far out, I'm looking at its Steam page right now, how do you like it? Graphically it looks gorgeous although the sight of airships is putting me off a bit as I dislike Steampunk in general, does it have a Steampunk feel or are the airships just there for variety?

If you are referring to Borderlands 2, airships are not really a big factor in the game. BL 2 is all about the weapons and the perks your character gets. There are some pretty awesome weapons in this game :-)
I have put about 180 hours into BL2

I have not encountered any airships yet in Windward, but I am only in the early stages of it. There are (I think) 4 factions at the start and you choose one to play. Each faction has a different aspect they are based on. Valiant is about combat, Consulate is about diplomacy, Sojourn is about exploring, and Exchange is about trading.

So far I have only started with Sojourn and have been playing in one region in the world map, getting ready to advance to the next region. In the region I'm in I have only encountered other Sojourn ships and pirates.

I also believe the game is MP capable, but I have not explored that yet.

Styx: Master of Shadows

A very fun stealth game that I am enjoying it quite a bit. After Styx I plan on getting Thief (PS4),

Thief 2: The Metal Age.

I'm now on mission 10 (that rooftop mission), so 2/3 done as far as I can tell?

This is indeed a more polished and more enjoyable Thief game. I had a bit of an issue with Thief Gold as I felt the level design was a bit poor (big maze-like levels where I constantly got lost), and I disliked some of the enemies. In Thief 2, it seems much more thought has gone into the level design, and the missions themselves. For instance that "Blood Trail" mission (mission 9?), damn it was so atmospheric. The people who did the audio design for that level (and rest of the game) should get some kind of gaming Oscar for their work.

Also, am I imagining it or is Thief 2 much easier game than Thief Gold? I am playing both in Expert difficulty, and while I felt in Thief Gold I could be stuck or lost in one mission for a week or two, in Thief 2 I seem to finish easily two or three missions per day. Maybe it is the lack of zombies and other "hard to disable"-enemies. Ok there are those guards which can't be stunned (ie. you can't really do anything but to avoid them), but they are mostly pretty rare.

PS. I still think it is good to play Thief (Gold) before playing Thief 2, as there are direct references to the first game. Better to get the whole story.

Mech Commander Gold. Suprisingly it works perfectly on my 64bit win7 laptop
